What's your gasoline costing?

We were out Thursday in Tallahassee and all the stations we saw were $3.59 for regular. Yesterday they were all $3.79 so we filled up at Sam's since it was $3.39. Today all the same stations were $3.99. Up 40 cents in 2 days. Yikes. Sam's and Costco are $3.63. How about wherever you are?

Almost $4 in MD. Can't remember exactly how much, but it was about $3.85.

Seeing $4 and above here in suburban MD today. Going into well water country, it's $3.75 at safeway.

Filled my tank a week ago, I don't drive a lot of distance and my Honda gets very good gas mileage (thank goodness!) so I have not had a reason to look.

However per Gas Buddy in New Haven the low is $3.69 and high is $4.39 for regular unleaded. (higher octane has been above $4 for awhile here)

Yep, 40 cents in 2 days here as well. Yesterday, regular gas went up .10 from 3.49 to 3.59. Today, it went up another .30 to 3.89. (upper midwest US) I think today, premium grade was 4.69 or 4.79.

Around $4/gal here, just north of Boston. I don't drive much though, so not really a big deal as far as direct out of pocket costs go.

Americans are going to be cursing their constant rapid memory loss as they've indulged on gas guzzling land barges over the last decade of cheap gas.

Huge spike in my area of CT. Went from $3.60ish to $4.49 in the last few days. Small price to pay, plus both of us working from home means we don't use much gas anyway.

$1.88/litre or so. I'm not sure what type of gallon the US uses as there seems to be different standards but assuming it's 3.8 litres per gallon, that puts us at around $7.5/gallon.

BC and a few other places are at over 2 bucks a litre.

I wonder at what point gas stations are going to start serving caviar and fine wine, since only rich people will be able to afford to go there.

Although I kind of chuckled a bit that someone put these stickers on all the pumps (that I could tell from where I was standing).

Can't even escape politics when stopping to get gas now apparently. Next thing you know, someone will probably put political stuff on canned vegetables and bread.

Yeah starting to regret my truck purchase decision lol. Should have gotten a smaller car and just got a trailer for it. Though when I originally bought it I was still looking for a property so needed the ground clearance for all the sketchy bush roads I'd go on. But now that I got my property and it's a fairly nice gravel road the whole way I could get away with a car.

I've been avoiding driving as much as I can and I don't start it ahead of time anymore, I'll just freeze my butt off to save a few bucks.

Even across the border by @Red Squirrel the prices are almost doubled. Europe is just as high as that, or worse. It varies by region within countries as well, but to read about the prices in Canada...wow.

Yeah it's crazy. We really get gouged here and always have. What's infuriating is that we have more than enough production to be self sustaining so worldly events should not even affect us but yet it does. Lot of corruption and overall bad policy decision making is involved.

Careful, she might have picked up some crabs in there and surprised you about it.

It's not that you bought a truck. You just bought the wrong brand for non-heavy duty use. A Toyota is a better tool.

Urban jungleites simply don't appreciate when the land is untamed and nature's waste can fill things up real quick.

Quite a few compacts back in the day could tow a small 1000 lb or less trailer. My mom's Corolla Matrix had the holes to install a hitch and everything.

The Chevron and Shell stations near me were 4.99 two days ago, and yesterday they are both 5.39.
Today the Chevron station went up another .20, so 5.59.

The cheap stations are still a little below $5.
