oh, and JEW is the unintentional acronym for Jimmy Eat World. The band derived their name from a drawing Jim Atkin's younger brother did of him eating an entire world (Jim was a fat kid) with that as the title. They chose it for the band name. JEW would be my 2nd favourite band. Still love listening to Clarity and Static Prevails; both albums are incredible.

nope, it was from one of the band members little brothers. i knew one of their friends in college that also produced their first album. from what i heard, the little bro was a bit pudgy, and they would tell him that he would eat the world if he could. and he would reply "jimmy eat world!".

but thats all hearsay, since i didnt know the guys directly. i do trust the source tho.


my fave band of all time is black sabbath with ozzy. no other band has withstood the test of time, and their style back then can be yanked to now and not skip a beat. the lyrics were good, and the feel the band gave is awesome. solid band.
