Last year's thread:
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2034928
Per my history, I bombed my 2010 resolutions. However, I won't let that stop me from making progress this year  Here are my 2011 goals:
Kaido's 2011 H&F Resolutions:
1. No sugar for a year
2. Develop the "go to bed early" habit
3. Track my progress every day here on H&F (365 days straight)
4. "Body by Dave" Phases 1 & 2
I got through 6 weeks of no sugar in 2010 before I caved. I didn't really cave, I just stopped because I didn't see a huge difference in my life from going off sugar. I thought there would be a more dramatic difference in my quality of life, but there wasn't. The reason I want to do it again is because if I don't have any sugar available to turn to, I'll have to eat something better, which will help me stay on track with healthy eating.
The thing that helped me most was an early bedtime. I am a total nightowl and prefer going to bed around 2:00am, given the choice. Most nights I get to bed around 11:00pm because I wake up early for work. I'd like to start doing 8:00pm. It's incredibly early, but I have much more energy and focus in the mornings, so I can pursue more of my personal projects that way. I've found that an early bedtime, coupled with 7 hours of sleep, is the right answer for me. THAT is what cleared up my skin, gave me energy and motivation, and helped me stay focus - not going off sugar. I really struggle with it, but I have a good system for going to bed & staying in bed (cell phone alarm reminder & audiobooks on my iPod), and I'm determined to be successful at it this year. From the last few years of learning about my body, an early bedtime has had absolutely the most impact on me in terms of dramatic benefits.
I do extremely well when I track things. I've found when I post regularly, it helps me to stay accountable to myself, so I'm determined to post every single day in my personal 2011 H&F thread to help me stay on track. Even if I slip up or do nothing or I'm sick, I'm going to post.
Lastly, I've put together my 3-phase program, "Body by Dave". Phase 1 is fat loss (goal is 160 pounds, currently 193 - goal is to lose 33 pounds through a combination of a healthy eating plan & daily cardio) - 3 months. Phase 2 is my strength foundation (calisthenics-based) - 9 months. Phase 3 is my advanced strength training (also calisthenics-based) - 12 months (that will be my 2012 resolution, assuming the world doesn't end). I have a diet put together, I have an elliptical machine, and I know what exercises to do and have a schedule for everything. All I have to do is simply do the actions every day, and through cutting out sugar and going to bed early, and tracking my progress here on the boards, I'm going to do them, by golly!
So let's hear YOUR 2011 Health & Fitness goals!
