Mine was stealing a woman's checkbook. I waited on her and a few hours later she called up the restaurant talking to my manager and me yelling and screaming, wanting me arrested and fired. I told my manager I did not do it but I wasn't sure if he believed me or not. Later on she called back and told us that she found the checkbook at her home.

Accused of stealing PC133 SDRam back in the day from my job at Best Buy. Supposedly, I was stealing it in bulk and reselling it outside of work or returning it to Circuit City for credit. I ended up being terminated for admitting to using my employee discount to buy a radio for my friend, but I didn't care because I was leaving for college in a few weeks anyways. On my way out though, I made sure several people went down for the bullshit they tried to pull on accusing me for stealing. The Store LP Manager, 2 pc techs, pc tech manager, and Customer Service manager were all thoroughly investigated and fired after I spilled the beans. :p

Too bad you couldn't get the store closed down altogether.

I was working as a PC Tech to install network cards and setup DHCP records at a job. My boss came in on Friday and I had to ask him to login to the DHCP server since I didn't have an account on it. I had been working there over a year...he said, this is ridiculous that you don't have an account on the server...let's create one for you. So he created an account for me.

The following Monday, he came in around the time I did. I logged into the system using the account that he created for me. He asked, "how did YOU get an account on the DHCP server?" Then he accused me of creating it myself.

I lost all respect I ever had for this numbnuts when he couldn't remember what he had done 3 days earlier. Not the best boss in the world....I still work at the same place, but now am about 20 paygrades above where he was when he was there.....and have 60 servers to his one stupid Win2k box. ;)

Leaving a room with a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of stuff inside unlocked. Amazing that they would come to me when I am 1 of over 30 people with a key to the room. And have been there longer than half of them.

Selling pirated games, swapping out hard drives (installing 4gb drives, keeping the larger drives), employee discounts, theft to name a few.

But why, if you shot and killed a man in Nevada, did they send you to prison in Kahleeforneeya? Shouldn't you have gone to Ely or Carson City? ;)

Accused of doing a drug deal in front of the video rental store I worked at when I was 16.

The guy was so sure that I did one with someone else that he went inside and "told on me" to my manager.

The guy was a regular also, he was there at least a few times each week, but my management sided with me and that douche bag stopped coming to the store.

I'm not sure if it's the worst, but it was one of the most upsetting. Back in Grade 4, I think, my French class was in the library getting books, and working on an assignment. After 25 kids had rummaged over the French section in the library, it obviously looked trashed and pillaged. Well, I was practically the last one there, which left me alone. Suddenly, the bitch librarian, who was new that year to the schedule, starts bitching at me for making a mess. Unfortunately, I was still very shy at the time, and didn't talk back. She then made me clean the crap up, and came after me infront of my French teacher who I'd known for years. Very minor, but it still pisses me off to this day.

The cops called my father and accused me of being suicidal and having sex with an underage girl (she was 17, I was 18 at the time) in the same conversation. Neither of which was true, she was a good friend and nothing more. My father laughed at them, asked if they had anything they wanted to charge me with, and when they said there wasn't any proof he hung up. He thought it was funny.

When I was 12 my friend dialed 911 on the phone at the skating rink and hung up, then he proceeded to blame me when the cops showed up. For some reason they believed him and not me. I was banned from the Rink for a year, and he was no longer my friend. On a good note, the rink went out of business about 2 months later, they tore it down and built a Pep Boys :)

When I was working in a grocery store, I rang up this lady's huge order (2 carts). She had her shopper's discount card attached to her keys - handing it to me so I could scan it and promptly hand back (which I did). After the order was payed for and everything was done, the woman and her daughter push the carts away to go home. 5 minutes later, she comes back in demanding to know what I did with her keys - in a tone and a manner that implied I took them and didn't return them. Another cashier called security to look at the camera footage and they told her that she had dropped them into one of her bags. She finds her keys and then stomps out of the store without even apologizing for accusing me of stealing her keys.
