Wow, I've never had that experience. Whenever I call ahead, my pizza is already sitting on a shelf waiting for me. Of course, I always call when I'm maybe 5-10 minutes away.

BLAAAH for ties! I had to wear one to an interview the other day, I've only wore them to interviews and haven't had many. So there I was on youtube watching a video how to die it, I didn't have a lot of time to practice so it came out less than perfect.

maybe in IT. but formal dress is big in engineering. people like it when someone properly dressed gives them a plan that could cost bazillion dollars.

Alright KT, put on a tuxedo/suit, with tie, get on stage surrounded by ~100 other people, under hot stage lights, and sing for an hour without sitting. You will lose your affection for ties very quickly...
