I have to wear a tie too, along with a long sleeve shirt and pants as minimum standard (M-T at least).

If it was up to me, I refer to wear the same but no tie. Ties are useless IMO.

To me, tie is just like a piece of cloth that serves no other purpose, just like a cloth that I wrap around my arm just for the heck of it.

Don't get me wrong. I like a nice suit and all for special occasions but a tie for day to day is a bit too much.

Can't really argue with that there. The shirt/slacks/jacket I like. The tie I like, but if I didn't have to wear it I wouldn't unless I had to impress somebody.
