i saw one last month at a car show. it was in immaculately rebuilt condition, with a single rear axle and WIDE tires. i normally don't like big trucks, especially in the hands of idiots, but this was completely awesome.
i would say the most ridiculous US road legal yet still commonly available is the Dodge Viper.
