I had the beta for 2142 and I thought it was pretty bad. Basically BF2 set in a futuristic setting. Somethings were way over powered, it has ingame advertising. I won't every purchase it. Maybe if they released it as an addon for bf2 (which it should be) for $19.99 I'd consider it, but even that is doubtful. They need to go back to the bf1942 roots.

my fav's came out last year: BF2, FEAR, CS:S(before last year) I wanted to say Oblivion, but it was kind of a dissapointment for me, it just got too tedious after a while and they tried to be too far ahead of the curve on graphics, even with a 7900gt it got clunky at times..

what kind of specs does your box have? I was interested in Flight Sim X, but was curious about performance on an older machine.
