October 15 has already been set aside to be a national day of recognition commemorating Dick Cheney, once he passes of course. The date was specifically chosen to coincide with the birth of the great
Allen W. Livingston, creator of Bozo the Clown.
Well, since we're planning ahead, who's next in line of succession should Bush be impeached?
With Bush and Cheney gone, it would be Pelosi. I would also be moving to New Zealand.
If Cheney goes out, Bush will appoint a new VP.
the only way Pelosi would move up is if Bush & Cheney go down at the same time.
Impeachment proceedings will not allow that to happen.
Each would have their own set.
Should proceedings start against Bush (which I doubt, given the fear of the Dems that Cheney would take the reins), then Cheney would take the position if Bush was to be actually impeached.
Therefore the only scenario would be the Cheney dies at the same time Bush is convicted in an impeachment trial.
