Lets inspire each other here at ATOT.

Post pics of your dinner.

I've taught some 7th graders about human anatomy, and they had to cut a pig heart open, and then I got the urge to make pig's hearts in cream sauce.

And then some kale salad with avocado, apples, peanuts og apple vinegar/honey dressing.

Haven't decided yet. I went in to wash the dishes to get ready for dinner, and lost my appetite. I'm leaning towards bean burritos though.

Damnit, if only you posted this last night! I ate some leftover chicken. When I unwrapped it, I found a fly had crawled inside. It didn't fly away though; it just fell to the ground and slowly walked around. After killing it, I looked back at the chicken. The fly had laid its eggs on it. Having paid $1 for that chicken, I couldn't let it go to waste. I did brush away the larvae before I ate it, but I did notice that some of the larvae had burrowed themselves deep into the meat. I hope I got them all. I should have taken a picture though. Last week I ate two month old birthday cake. It was moldy so I had to eat carefully around it. I survived just fine you food snobs.

Picked up a 15 pound chunk of strip loin - a little bigger than an alternator. So, it would seem that I'm going to cook up some big, thick, juicy ny strip steaks.

It's not about being a snob, it's about having a good meal. What is snobbish about a meal which mainly consists of pigs heart, cream, potatoes and kale?

It's all low cost ingredients that you can get in a local supermarket.

Just cut close to all the way through, brush with some olive oil and add salt, then bake in oven ~30-40 mins @ 175C.

I have some taters I need to get rid of. I might do that tonight. Do I want all taters, or should I make something with them? I'm ok with a meal of taters, but I don't know that that's all I want. Maybe I'll make salmon with them... :^/

You'll need your proteins and fibers as well, so do some salmon and then find some fibers to add. ;)

And then post some pics.

Decided on potatoes only. They're in the oven now, I added garlic powder and Italian seasoning. If I want something else, I have leftover potato soup in the fridge I forgot about. I'd have just had that, but your potatoes looked good, and I wanted to try it.

Heart is nice. It's got a different flavour and texture to normal meat. Goes very well with soy sauce and sesame oil.

I don't have pictures, but the potatoes were good. I used olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and Italian seasoning, then at the table I added grated parm/romano cheese. For dessert I had rye toast with butter.

Berries and cream for dessert

Made beef stew earlier today. And pasta, and pasta sauce. I'll have awesome leftovers this week.

After I cleaned the entire house.

Now I have new, faster internet. w@@t.

Very productive Saturday.

Crap, now I really want one of those (well, a good one - like the one on the picture on the box, not what's actually in the box) on a toasted rye bread hoagie roll with tartar sauce... and some fries and a comically large mug of beer.

*drool*

Why do the pictures on the box always look so much more appetizing than what's in the box?
