Made beef stew earlier today. And pasta, and pasta sauce. I'll have awesome leftovers this week.

After I cleaned the entire house.

Now I have new, faster internet. w@@t.

Very productive Saturday.

Was it the stew or the house cleaning that gave you faster internet. I'd like more speed, and the house cleaning is more approachable. I don't have beef, but if Spam works too, I could try that.

It was the pasta. Come on, use your noodle.

I just made a Key Lime Pie (my 2nd time; 1st time was too tangy...so I cut back on the lime juice by ~1/4 cup this time) and added melted white chocolate in between the crust and pie filling, and some lime zest.

The crust is graham cracker crumbs, butter, ground ginger, and shredded coconut. I can't/won't ( 😛 ) try it for another few hours--or tomorrow--since I want it to cool down and chill in the fridge for a bit.

MOOR PICS! (yes, I'm drunk)

Home made beef barley soup, and since the wife had a Panera gift card we had some asiago bread to go with, and a danish ring for after.

A southwestern pasty.

Had chicken, corn, potatoes, black beans, tomatoes, and onions in it and instead of using ketchup you use taco sauce.

Pics or it didn't happen 😛
Ohhh, it happened.

And, it happened again. Plus, there was a steak sub night where I cut the fat off a piece of steak, and heated it to liquid, then sauteed fresh mushrooms in it, and shaved a bunch of steak and quickly cooked it in, leaving the steak just a little pink. Oh, yum, those were good. And yeah, that's broccoli with cheese - a blend of a couple types of cheese. The baked potato, when almost finished baking, was dipped into the grease from the steak - that lead to an awesome flavor on the potato - didn't need butter or sour cream or anything, absolutely delicious the way it was. Plus, the simple salad - just some romaine lettuce with a little bit of that purple crap added for a bit of a different flavor/color, with a honey balsamic vinaigrette.

Tonight, for dinner, more steaks. Probably with another half of a baked potato (those potatoes are huge), some sort of veggie - frozen corn, peas, or broccoli; and I'm thinking about making a cherry pie for dessert. Else, a blackberry pie from berries I picked and froze this summer.

mac and cheese tonight.

I've got a bunch of leftover pasta and I'm a bit sick of tomato sauce, so I'm just going to throw together a quick cheese sauce with the leftover cheese from the chili I made over the weekend. I've got some leftover chorizo and tomatoes as well, so that may also go in the pot.

I'm going to throw together some pesto, chicken, tomatoes, and put it over pasta. Might just cook the pasta for the girlfriend and put mine over spinach to make it a little healthier, though.

230g of grass fed sirloin
250g pasta
140g tuna
100g cheese
150g sweet corn
1 small avocado

cooked it all then baked it in the oven for a bit to melt the cheese.
