What's a fast car for under 60k?

What's even MORE surprising is the Lingenfelter TT Z06 isn't too much lower than those numbers. If only I had $120K to spend on a new car...

What I would do:

1. Buy a Camaro/Firebird with LS1 (2000 or 2001) 16K - 18K
2. Send to Lingenfelter for the 427 package. 30K
3. Find a way to put a supercharger on it (Procharger). 5K

Spend the remaining 5K or so on new pairs of shorts.

I just traded my 98 Vette for an 03, I also recommend his friend look at them (the C6 won't be out till mid 04, convertible probably another 6-12 month later)

I'd buy a new I'd buy a new Caddy CTSv and pocket 10k.

 

vette, and then have it modded. There is a guy out there that does it and when he's done with it, the vette is faster than an Ferrari and I believes handles better.
