'95 was the last year for OBDI, thus, it's easier to upgrade... or i mean you can get more hp out of it easier than OBDII. the 15th aniversary versions are really nice.

but you're 16. that is waaayyy to much car to handle for a 1st car. like you said, you're not the best driver. you don't have to be the worst to die in one.

if you really want a supra, buy a natural aspirated supra, take a few autocross and rally classes, save up some money and after you get REAL good, buy a turbo package for the NA Supra (which can still net you in the 500+ rwhp category = still lots) or swap in a TT engine.

Where do you people get your numbers? Stock Supras (even the TTs) do not do 12's, and they sure don't do 11's

Googled it: Not sure how accurate, but these numbers are pretty close to real life. Remember, a used car today would run slower than these numbers, though.

And how are you gonna pay for this rather expensive car? Unless you just happen to have like 30 grand laying around.

Famous last words... until you've learned to respect the road and the drivers on it and not letting any red mist get to you while driving in traffic... I'm guessing that you don't know any car control so you're a "typical" driver. Don't think you're better than anyone else. But at least you have the right attitude... join the SCCA or NASA and they'll set you on track to learning some true driving skill. Even then, never use that stuff on the street... any red mist = mistake = bad stuff.

I don't actually give a crap... if you want one and can afford it (including insurance, gas, etc) go for it. Personally, I'd love to get one myself. A MkIV with 6speed tranny and LSD rearend... doesn't matter what year really. Maintenance will be costly. OBDII are going to be fine to upgrade. So you can't get as far with the stock ECU... so what, you're going to junk it eventually anywho. An AEM standalone is quite reasonable in price down the road and it seems like you can afford it.

People try to race me on the streets now... call me names or whatnot. I don't need to race them to boost my ego. I already know if they'll beat my car or not 9X out of 10, and I don't need prove it by endangering myself, them, and others around us for some pissant fscktard prick-measuring contest. Especially when I know my area is chockful of speed traps along ever major thoroughfare. Or if you wanna Ferengi answer? Don't waste gas. I don't waste gas on Honduhs or ricers.

I'm not taking a shot at you personally, but damn you rich kids. I remember working my ass off saving up for a 97 Probe my junior year of high school.

Haha oh yea, you got me on that one. I forgot that only the poor kids get 30 to 40K cars right when they turn 16.
