I am going to get my ride modified with spike drops, stink, oil and paint squirts, and machine guns on the back of my ride.

Some jerks tailgates me, I will paint his windshield brown and finish off with LIQUID ASS.

If he still does not give up, machine guns get a go...

EDIT: I am gonna have jet engine too...just give em a blast of fire FTMFW!.

I would have spun out, spraying his car with gravel, then he would have thrown a brick at my car, then we would have fought, and I forget what happens after that...

I think just the Liquid Ass would do the trick, perhaps with an additive to reduce its viscosity, which would hopefully let it really soak into any fabric it would encounter.

What the hell is it about driving that makes people so aggressive? Or are they just naturally dicks, and this gives them some excuse to clearly illustrate that fact to everyone else?

I would not of stopped, I would of drove around until he got bored. If he was driving dangerously, I would of drove to the police station. However, one time I passed a guy and I guess he was upset, he followed me home at a distance where I did not really notice he was 'following me'. He pulled into my driveway and got out of the car with a small bat yelling. I drew down on him with my pistol. That solved the problem as I asked him to please get in his car and leave my property.

He did call the police afterward and they stopped by. I explained the situation, they left and I never heard a thing again.

I've often thought about what I would of done had he not left. A very odd situation. I think he was posturing and not trying to hurt me, so shooting him was morally wrong, even if legally right. I'm glad he left.

Your car is an extension of yourself and personal space. When somebody gets too close then they are literally assaulting you and the natural instinct is to defend that space and make sure they don't do it again.

Next time a guy walks at me with a baseball bat in his hand, I'll simply tell him to back away or I'll tell his mommy.

If it were me, that man would have realized that he made a grave mistake and brought a golf club to a gun fight.

.45 ACP > Golf Driver. Every time.

1) pre-kids:
I would have attacked him and beat the crap out of him. Once close, his club would have been useless and he would not have re-acted in time.
I would have left him bloody with broken ribs.

2) post-kids:
I would have called him an idiot without explanation and gone on my way. Actually, I would have pointed out how stupid it would be for me to race an SUV. Said something about him being pissed at gas prices, etc.

And if the kids were not in the car, I would have slammed on my brakes atleast once.

Woohoo, we brought out one of the resident AT badassess! Where are the rest of them?

OP as a fellow Canadian I can say I would have done the same thing. If it happened to me in the US I probably would have kept driving until he got bored and went away, or until I found a police station to drive into.

I wouldn't have pulled over. People are crazy, and you never know what someone like that might do. I would have driven to the nearest police station, parked the car right in front of the building, and then got out of the car to ask him why he was following me.

There had been 2 cases of road rage homicide in the past 2 months where I live. 1st one involved a man getting executed on the shoulder of highway w/ 2 children in the back seat. 2nd one involved a man and his 2 teenage sons murdered on local streets after an argument about who had right of way at a 4 way stop intersection. I wouldn't stop my car if some guy went loco, police station is the only way to get crazy people off your back.

I cannot begin to understand why someone would pull over with children or family members in the car. People and their egos

Hell, I have a CCW and almost always carry and I wouldn't have pulled over if I was alone let alone traveling with my wife/kids. We would have took a ride to the police station to get rid of the asshole and then been on our way.

I have no problem killing someone if I am forced to but my main goal is to completely avoid a situation in which I would be forced to do so.

And why in the hell would you just sit there in your car while some pissed off asshole is approaching it/you with a golf club?? Even if I had stopped I would have drove the hell off long before drawing my weapon was necessary.

Well, it is exactly what I would have done. I don't have a concealed carry permit just to keep the card in my wallet.

An armed society is a polite society.

Where in his post did you get the impression he drives a riced out civic or carries an assault rifle in his car?

Unless you're PGA Tour pro and the other guy is a really bad shot. :)

Damn... that would make for a cool action movie sequence!

You should have pulled a zanejohnson and pounded your head on his baseball bat. THAT would have taught him a lesson!
