I detest handshaking. After working many years in the corporate world, I noticed about half the men who use the bathroom not washing their hands and then offering their hand shake in meetings right afterwards. People don’t realize that they use their fingers for scratching scabs, picking their nose, their eye, their ear and other things, sometimes so much by habit that they don’t even realize that they are doing this. Do I really want to shake their hand?
It has really grossed me out so much that I would make sure to be holding papers or coffee to avoid the handshake. I’m told women are not much better.
It also bothers me when a co-worker comes over and uses my mouse and keyboard.
I would like to see the surgeon general come out and warn people not to hand shake any more. Instead, perhaps the wave or half-salute. Lets not even talk about the people who always want to hug you. Ekkkkk......
