Mine was when I traded my Blue Ipod Mini and my $50 sony earbuds for a generic stick of 256mb PC2100 DDRRAM a week ago...

Lol, sorry, but I don't. I was desperate because my dad was pissed at me for not having my computer running (he spent about $6-700 on some parts in it) and I wanted to get it running ASAP.

You're right, I am 15.

Don't get me wrong, I know that the Ipod was worth 10x more than the RAM, but as I said, I was desperate to get my computer running as soon as possible. It's not like I thought the deal was even lol.

You gave away $300 worth of stuff (that your parents probably bought you) in exchange for $50 worth of stuff, all to save a 15 minute trip to the store. Good work.

Not a stupid trade but a really good upgrade trade story...


I once traded a $500 computer and $300 LCD for some items, and went through 3 trades with these items withen a matter of two weeks.

I ended up having a $1500 Computer $500 Moniter and $600 Cash just because I traded with 3 people who really wanted my items and They kept upgrading me. LOL So I ended up with a free $1000 upgrade, a 4" bigger Moniter (17" to 21"), and $600 cash to boot 😀

Actually, I purchased one. From my Dad (he bought about 45 of them when our Best Buy got some in stock, and we resold them on eBay for a nice profit🙂 ), but I still purchased it with MY money that I earned.

Second, I cannot drive, and the store is about 30 minutes from here.

Third, I did not have the cash to purchase it at that time.
 
*Cough* To repeat, I needed the RAM ASAP or else my dad would've been thoroughly pissed at me. I was at my freind's house and he happened to have an extra stick, so we did the trade.
 
I think those $29.95 cabins that I bought on the Titantic were probably the worst
deal I've made lately.

They didn't tell me that they leaked so badly.........

You have some "nice" friends. I would have just lent you the stick until you had money to pay me for it.
