I also forgot....I once traded a free boat for a free mystery (shoe)box. After all there could be anything in the mystery box......even a boat!!!

It was Magic: the Gathering trade. Back when I was 14 I traded a Vesuvan Doppleganger for three mostly-useless cards out of Legends. Actual value was equal, but as far as using the cards it wasn't by a long shot.

Buying 1967 Impala with 427 and putting motor in my 67 chevelle. This was in 78 when it wasn't worth much. Rest of car went the crusher. 🙁

my ibook.. it'll be a big loss on my part... all to get a dslr. or not.. since all those interested seem to have disappeared 🙁

The worst trade I ever made was when I gave up the rights to Kobe Bryant for Vlade Divac.

Oh wait, that wasn't me, that was the Charlotte Hornets.

This thread reminds me of someone on ATOT who once said "Whenever I do something really dumb I never think about posting it on the internet".

Well, in somewhat recent history (last year) I paid $45 for a USB 2.0 card reader. I didn't really care about price at the time, I just wanted one, so I paid a high price, unfortunately. Worst deals I probably made when building my first computer back in 8th grade. I bought everything at Fry's.
