Yea but still you could have sold it withen a day on FS/FT for AT LEAST $200.00 and then purchased the ram, had it shipped overnight and still had $150 left too.....

so the big question is would he be madder about having to wait to get a computer up and running or finding out his son is a complete and fvuckign retard? Does he know what you did? Is he OK with it?

I tried selling it but with my heat rating (I have like 28 pos and 2 neg) everyone wanted me to ship first, I couldn't wait that long.

I wouldn't be suprised if his dad didn't give a sh!t. Parents and computer-incompetent people are like that - they bitch and whine at you to fix it every damn minute till its done. That is why I build computers for a very few select people that I don't mind becoming lifetime tech support for.

No, he doesn't know I did this trade, but he wouldn't mind since I did purchase the Ipod Mini myself. He would definitely be more mad about the computer because he bought atleast $600-700 of parts for me, and he doesn't like seeing the thing not running.

Best deal I got (worst deal for the other person) was $5 shipped for a 1st gen iPod, he just wanted me to pay for the shipping. Headphone connector is a bit chipped but functional, batteries had a 1hr life to them ($55 for a new battery) and it had a lot of scratches on it ($5 can of brasso and lots of rubbing).

Anyone want my IPOD? I'll accept crackers but I'll accept a crumb if that's all you can spare. I'm hungry and I don't like it when I'm hungry.

No "bad" deals, but certainly a fateful one. Traded a mint condition Daryl Strawberry rookie for a mint Jose Canseco rookie back in like '88.

I had a choice of free Accord or free Rabbit GTi

Guess which one I picked :(

edit: I picked the GTi, leading to years of headaches and discomfort. It was zippy though :D
