They opened up some fancy-ass new line for the Olympics, but I've never been on it. Have not been on transit in years, I usually walk, drive, or take a cab.

Buses now, hopefully someday Skytrain(elevated Rail). There is a Train that goes through during Rush Hours though. Pretty good system overall. The Vancouver region has a nice system overall.
 
My town has streets upon which someone might stand a reasonable chance of traversing on foot without being accosted by hooligans.
