This cracked me up. :D

They opened up some fancy-ass new line for the Olympics, but I've never been on it. Have not been on transit in years, I usually walk, drive, or take a cab.

Buses now, hopefully someday Skytrain(elevated Rail). There is a Train that goes through during Rush Hours though. Pretty good system overall. The Vancouver region has a nice system overall.

How long was the commute?
2 hours.

to go ~10 miles (as the crow flies).

it was the kick in the ass I needed to finally get my license, which shortened my commute down to 20-40 minutes (depending on traffic/day/time)
