$600? That's over the top. Why would he spend that much for Valentine's day??

i dunno, probably cause our 2-year anniversary is coming up and then he doesnt have to do much for that 😛 i wouldnt let him spend that much though, dont worry.

If you're going on 2 years, you should already know what he likes. Don't tell me things are getting boring already!

I heard of this idea awhile ago and thought it was pretty cool. Buy a bunch of hersey kisses and on small peices of paper write all the reasons why you love him and attach one to each hersey kiss. A lot of work, but pretty cool.

No guy really wants that lame-o chick crap!

In all seriousness, I can summarize what to get in one word - MEDIA. CDs, DVDs, video games. Media. Know it. Live it. Love it. And he'll love you in return.

His taste isn't whats important, its what you can taste that counts on Valentines day. 😉

Nothing. It is just another pointless Hallmark profit day.
Yep.

Get him a pass to not buy you anything.

well then isnt pretty much every day a 'hallmark profit day'?

anyway, he doesnt have to get me anything. he said we can go to zales and i have a limit of $600 but i think thats just a little overboard 😛 the ipod would be a good idea but i think he just bought a hard drive for his car so it would be pretty pointless for him.

I haven't read the thread past this point, so I don't know if anyone's commented on this yet.

This guy's a tool who is trying to buy you off with a (relatively) lot of money and little emotional effort.

I've told my girlfriend to not get me anything. I'm sure she still will though. Don't know what I'm doing for her yet, I'll figure it out on Feb 12th or so.

ill probably get her some roses too. having a gf is getting expensive.

Since I dont work I'm going to give him... umm.. unconditional "pleasure" 🙂

It's free, it's from the heart, and it's something he'll really love. 😀

I thought it was more from the mouth. 😕

I don't get my bf anything. Partially because he doesn't really want anything nor would he appreciate it.

sounds like a winner! or is that weiner?

LOL! I'm sorry but everytime you talk about this guy he sounds like such a winner.

Cait,

Guys are visual... for a valentine's gift for your guy... wear something that you'd normally consider "too much trouble" like CFM heels.

Metron 😀
