Isn't this the guy you're saying you're "on the verge of breaking up with"? If so, drop his ass first and at least feel good about yourself doing it.

Failing that, tie yourself up in ribbon and tell him to unwrap you with his teeth.

Nothing. It is just another pointless Hallmark profit day.
Yep.

Get him a pass to not buy you anything.

well then isnt pretty much every day a 'hallmark profit day'?

anyway, he doesnt have to get me anything. he said we can go to zales and i have a limit of $600 but i think thats just a little overboard :p the ipod would be a good idea but i think he just bought a hard drive for his car so it would be pretty pointless for him.

What exactly does Valentine's Day celebrate? Nothing. It is a day for people to spend money, go out to dinner, and have sex to celebrate their love. If you really are in love, you would celebrate it every day.

Guys don't expect anything for Valentine, so don't lose sleep over it.

Guys look for the following on Valentine day
1) make SO happy so as to not get murdered
2) Accomplish #1 well enough to get laid.

i see your logic, but that doesnt mean im going to stop celebrating valentines day. i just think its another chance to do something extra special for the one you love. and a chance to get more stuff from victorias secret.

So you showed what Valentine's Day actually celebrates, but just like >90% of the population that celebrates Valentine's Day you see at as a day to "get more stuff."

If you don't already know the answer to this........

if youre suggesting sex... we dont need a holiday for that.

most guys like gadgets, so new watch or tools = yay

as far as sex goes, you could ask about a special fantasy etc of his or act out one of your own, something out of the ordinary.

invite one of your girlfriends over:p:D:p

really the best option

It will definitely make him enjoy Valentines day!

and ruin our relationship. that would be cool.

yea, thats what my girlfriend just told me too

hrmm it looks like my gf and I will just be trying to spend as much time with each other that day, enjoying each other and feeling special because we have each other. She was very cool and even suggested we not do too much as far as gift-giving goes. Thats mostly because she cant think of what to get me though.

Her advice to you, "just to enjoy being with the guy you care for"
