I heard of this idea awhile ago and thought it was pretty cool. Buy a bunch of hersey kisses and on small peices of paper write all the reasons why you love him and attach one to each hersey kiss. A lot of work, but pretty cool.

OTOH, I haven't a clue what to get my gf, shes 750 miles aways from me, so maybe flowers delivered?

he works at best buy.. i work at compusa hmmmm do they have ebay gift certificates? i dont see how that would work, but he does get a lot of stuff off ebay. im at school so i cant check :-/

it would ruin mine cuz he's already had his ex gf and her best friend....

i also have no idea what to get my bf.... he has a few watches. he gets massages and sex regularly. i take him out to eat plenty, i also cook dinner plenty... i kinda like the lingerie idea

You could buy him a GC to GC.com, where he can use the $ towards a real GC to a number of merchants.

people get annoyed with valentines day because it gets blown out of proportion. I think its a great chance to do something from the heart- not expensive or extravagant.

I think if you could do a "favorites night", it might be neat...cook his favorite meal, rent his favorite movie, etc. i think sweet stuff like that is nice.

Beer baskets are awesome. Get a metal pail or bucket. Fill it with plain rafia or something for padding and fill it with a bunch of bottles of exotic beer. A nice assortment from around the world laid out like any other gift basket. Wrap in celophane and put a bow on it(again with rafia). In case anyone is wondering rafia is that hay/straw like stuff that is often used in gift baskets. In comes in many color but plain looks a lot like hay.
