TDK 12x10x32, a buy.com hot deal around Christmas of 2001. It was $180 after MIR. I rarely use it (maybe once a week max) so I think I'll be saving/waiting for the DVD burners to settle on one standard (or for the pirates to decide which, hehe) and for it to be under $200 to jump on that bandwagon. My grandmother bought me an HP 4x2x24 drive for $400 in December 1998..dang that was expensive
