What Smart Phone Do You Have? Do You Like it? Would You recommend It?

Dell Venue Pro, yes, yes
Samsung Vibrant, yes, not anymore as there are sufficient upgraded models available

I have the Droid X and love it. It easily lasts a full day with more then 30% when im ready to plug it in at 11pm. I didnt think id like the screen size at first, but once you go big you cant go back 😛

Edit: So yes, id recommend. Especially when i got one for my wife and myself for 1cent each from Amazon for a new Verizon account.

Vibrant, yes, no, I dont recommend stuff for people. Go out and find your own damn phone and figure it out for yourself! 🙂 Seriously tho, play around with some phones and see if YOU like it. People here are gonna do the android vs apple tired argument. Just watch.

Better to discuss what you actually expect from your smartphone. If it's simplicity, then the iphone would do it. If it's the ability to customize it and use it however you want, then something else.

this

tinker on a device = android
pick up a device and use it = ios

You can pick up an android phone just fine and use it. I'm sure the millions of people all over the world that chose android over iphone can pick up and use it just fine.

Seriously, macbooks, iphones, ipads feel like alien technology to me. Ive used each once, and had no idea what or how to do anything.

First time I picked up an android phone everything felt natural.

What is the battery life on these things? I heard the battery life on the iPhone was bad

If you have been told battery life on iPhone was bad, then prepare to be very very disappointed with android. 95% of the android models have worse battery life than iPhone 4.

Between using Winterboard & Dreamboard there's very little you can't do with an iPhone any more. And the fact the entire iPhone modding community is all working on 1 phone helps a lot. With Android you have a million different factions releasing things for dozens of different phone. I'd say unless you plan to write apps and do the actual modding yourself. iPhone's definitely the way to go.

That's an iPhone screen that looks almost identical to an HTC Sense Android device, with widgets and all. Yes, real widgets.

HTC Surround. I really like WinMoPho on it, and I would recommend it.
