Samsung Fascinate. At first I loved it but it's kinda become the bane of my existance. No, I wouldn't recommend it, and now I'm skiddish of other Samsung phones.

Have Nexus One, its the bomb running CM7, Would recommend a HTC Sensation as its pretty much the evolution of the Nexus One.

lol. You can't be serious.

I'm the same way. Maybe I'm so used to the PC way of doing things that simple "intuitive" Mac functions seem totally ass backwards to me, and entirely counter-intuitive.

Blackberry 9800. Love it.

I'd probably find a phone I like more, but I'm not too interested right now. I love the physical iPhone 4 device, but the OS ain't for me.

OG Droid. Got it for free a few months ago. Bought me enough time to wait for the Droid Bionic or Samsung Galaxy S2. I like it, but I can tell it's on it's last legs.

Recommend it? No, not really. It's better than nothing, and great for free. But, if you're in the market for a phone, wait for the 2 Droid options I mentioned, or the next iPhone. Especially if you're in an LTE area. Or check out a WP7. People seem to like them...

Want a cheap plan and have good Spirint coverage? Vigin mobile or one of the other pre-paid plans. Hard to beat $30 unlimited everything, if you're not wanting a super-premium phone...

Epic... love it but now that I am used to Swype 3 I don't care for having a hard keyboard. Would I recommend it? Ehhh I'd say wait a couple weeks or a month for the Within to come out.

I've got a thunderbolt, and I like it a lot would recommend although it needs the extended battery if you're using 4g a lot.

OG Droid. If this was like a year and half ago, yes. But now, of course, it's a little old.

Samsung Epic, yes, and maybe not because even though it's less than a year old, it's old in phone terms. If you feel like going no-contract and just buying one outright and can get a good deal, then sure. If you're willing to sign a contract, maybe wait for a new one.

That said, Samsung has redeemed themselves with the Epic. It's not perfect but it's a damn huge improvement over the Moment I had previously. Everything about it is better. It's super fast, works all the time, looks great, feels great.

The US versions of the Galaxy S got mixed reviews but the Epic is the best of all of them - it's the only one with a keyboard, a front facing camera, 4G, and a flash.

I have a tbolt but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. I guess if you must have lte. Its the cheapest choice on vzw. That said battery life sucks unless you root and cyanogen it. That said if I was doing it all again I'd have just gotten a nexus s on sprint. Especially given no more unlimited data after today.

Also android is just as easy to use as an iPhone. Iwrite software and have an iPhone and MacBook at work for a particular mobile product I have to write and I honestly think the iPhone is super annoying to use. Since it only has one main button everything is buried in so many levels of menus. Its no more intuitive at all than any recent android phone. And the Mac is the same vs win 7.

Dell Streak.

Yes.

Not really, but not because it's not good, but with the 5" screen it's not for everyone. Plus it's more than a year old now.

Samsung Focus. I love it, I would certainly recommend it to anybody who isn't expressly interested in customization.

I have a an HTC HD7, and a Nexus S. Could easily recommend either. If it's Android you're looking for the Galaxy S2 is probably better than the Nexus though.

HTC Evo Shift. Love it, would recommend it without hesitation.

The battery life is great and the phone itself is snappy. Plus, having a physical keyboard when you want it is awesome.

What is the battery life on these things? I heard the battery life on the iPhone was bad

Considering the iPhone 4 has one of the best battery life compared to a majority of smartphones, I think you were misinformed.

I'm the same way. Maybe I'm so used to the PC way of doing things that simple "intuitive" Mac functions seem totally ass backwards to me, and entirely counter-intuitive.

When I first used a Mac, the functions seemed really backwards to me, but now Windows seems backwards to me. So I think its really what you're used to.

IMO, I think iOS is easier to use because the menu functions aren't hidden like Android is. With Android you have to use the capacitive buttons to access functions of the app, whereas iOS has the functions in the app's UI.
