1400x1050x32x85 on one 19"
1400x1050x32x78 on the other
i wish nvidia would give support for custom resolutions back. the gap between 1280x960 and 1600x1200 is simply too large, and 19" is right in that gap.

I could run (9600x7200x32) x 8. Xwindows is super neat that way :)

I'd love an SGI F220 22" flat panel 1600x1024 with pip :)

I don't think you'll be able to do that just yet, but this might be of interest to you...
The T221 is the result of years of development by IBM Research and display organizations on extremely high-resolution, near-photographic-quality displays. The T221 offers a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2400, 170 degree viewing angle, digital connectivity, 1 to 400 contrast ratio, and a USB interface for microcode update capability and future color management capability.
You can get one now for "only" $8399. :p

1280x1024@32bpp@85hz on a 21" Trinitron for desktop use
For gaming I usually go for at least 1024x768@32bpp@2x AA, or 1280x1024@32bpp@2x AA if the framerates aren't too bad (gotta have my AA!).

Actually, you can do that already. Set the monitor to 1600x1200, and then have a 6x6 virtual desktop, and then stack 8 of those on top of each other.
