If marketers really want to turn women on, they would market a male musk body wash. You know, that funky pheromone smell men have under their pits AFTER they bathe with regular soaps.

Fruity, not so much, unless you are bred from some fruit bat gene pool.

My favorite scents on a guy are pure soap, not cologned, not too body wash smelling, just like a bar of soap. I would go for something like original dove, etc., because it still smells like soap, but is a creamy wash. I hate overly perfumed smells on guys. A fresh laundered shirt and fresh washed with a bar of soap skin is such a turn on!

I like my bodywashes/soaps/deodorants to leave the nice, crisp smell of air.

OOoooOOooo what exactly are guys supposed to smell like? I ask because I'm Chinese and Asians generally don't have very strong body smells, if at all. I personally don't think I have any kind of smell at all unless I'm working out.

And what's the deal with cologne then? Not a turn on either?

I think colognes are too strong. I don't like anything but simple soap scents. I guess a guy without much of a scent is ideal to me.

The safe bet is that guys aren't supposed to smell, period. Cologne depends on the women I think. Some like it, some don't. I've met girls who love abercrombie's fierce cologne for example, while others hate it.

I sometimes wear cologne, but just a little. It shouldn't really be noticeable unless you're really close to the person.

I use Softsoap for men. It has a nice smell but it's not overpowering.

I've been trying to figure it out lately, and I think the "fresh" scents I like are mostly citrus based.
