Same here...my Zen is my favorite...the video is so clear...

the video is ok, but frankly u can get a 4hr philips dvd/divx player 7" screen for 149 that just beats the socks off it for that kind of use. 199 for 8.5" 6hrs!

as for recording, from what i remember these players fall on their face with low quality low compression recording. not sure its worth the bother.

Because you seem awfully bent out of shape over it. Enough to post in this thread saying how awful it is. Clearly your precious 33 hours of time could have been more enjoyable if you had done a little research or at least taken 10 seconds to use the device first.

I was just thinking the same thing. Replaced some etymotic ER6s that were dead with some IM716s, which are white. I'm hoping the blue case will fool potential muggers.

I replaced the earbuds off of my Creative Zen Vision M with a pair of Panasonics...one pair was white, but I busted them up, so I went and got a black pair...they go with my player better anyhow...it's black...

And Creative's do scratch, but all MP3 players do...get a freakin case if you're worried about scratches...I did (too bad it cost $25 because it's so hard to find accessories)...

wrong. i'll have used it for over a week by the time i return it. that's more than ample time (i hope... but, then again, it is a creative zen microphoto....)

and i didn't rip off compusa. even if i did, i couldn't really care less. it's either i "rip off" compusa and get something for only a temporary reason only to return it or i suffer the entire 33 hours.

also, compusa has no problem with being "ripped off." i told the guy that i was just gonna use it for my road trip and return it. he said as long as it doesn't have any scratches and is still in brand new condition, i've got 21 days to return it.

no one gives a shyt... only you. get over it.

EDIT: by the way, whenever i return it, they still put it up for sale in the clearance section. some newb will come and buy it, so they're still getting paid for it and not "ripped off".
