One likes it, the other, not so much. I didn't season it just so they can decide how to season it.Looks delicious but what did the degenerates think about it? I know they can be a little stubborn when it comes to trying new foods.
Heh...yeah I've been down that road. No easy answer to that one but I wish you the best. Just keep trying until you find one they like! One likes it, the other, not so much. I didn't season it just so they can decide how to season it.
I'm pretty surprised at the lack of "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS THAT" posts about that tbh.Laverbread, bacon and fried bread!

Don't cook the pasta all the way. Drain it, add the sauce then add a bit of the pasta water. Keep cooking it and adding little bits of pasta water until the pasta is cooked. The starch from the pasta thickens the sauce and the sauce cooks into the pasta.I made steak bites with creamy mushroom sauce over penne pasta. It turned out pretty good, but the sauce was too runny. I think the recipe was supposed to call for some flour to mix in with the rest of the sauce ingredients to thicken it up or something. It wasn't necessarily creamy, just kinda watered down so it didn't stick to the pasta as much as I'd like. Wife and kid said it was good though.
I cook laver soup and eat baked seasoned laver as snack so meh.I'm pretty surprised at the lack of "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS THAT" posts about that tbh.
I just imagined that you also like black pudding so didn't seem weird to meI'm pretty surprised at the lack of "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS THAT" posts about that tbh.

Thank you for this!! I know I've seen videos of chefs that do this but they never explained why!Don't cook the pasta all the way. Drain it, add the sauce then add a bit of the pasta water. Doesn't look any less scary. The thing I posted above is made of seaweed.
All your pasta gets nicely coated and you don't end up with a bunch of undressed pasta with a blob of sauce in the middle!Thank you for this!! I know I've seen videos of chefs that do this but they never explained why!
Yeah, laver bread is not an attractive meal! Tastes amazing and is really good for you though (if you leave out the fried bread and bacon (which you very much shouldn't do!)).Doesn't look any less scary.
Laver soup is just water, lever (we get them dry), meat, shrimp, green onions, sesame oil, salt and white pepper.Tell me more about this!
Remind me why France always wins food fights with the UK? You just gave us photographic proof. That looks disgusting.Laverbread, bacon and fried bread!
