Motorola V195 - 9/10 - No mp3, no camera, no internet. When I talk others hear me. When others talk I hear them. Speakerphone is weak, battery is strong.
T-mobile prepaid - 9/10 - Convos occasionally lag. Price is great (~$8/month on avg).

it does the job, but I wish I had an iphone. still have another year on my contract with sprint, though. hopefully by the time it expires, apple will have taken away AT&T's exclusivity.

Blackberry Pearl (8130): 4/10
Sprint: 9.5/10

Reason why I rated the phone low was because surfing on the net sucks with it. Plus the (ball) scroll doesn't work well. If I could get an iPhone 3G for Sprint, I would.

Sometimes it pocket calls. So it gets a 9.

I used to have this. I'd give it a 6 because it had no MP3 sorting or shuffle. Plus it would unlock all the time, even my one year old could do it (most annoying thing). Plus I had to pay for games and ringtones, and it needed VZNavigator for GPS.

My Tour solved all these issues. I would give it a 9.75/10 because it seems to have a couple minor glitchy things that will probably be fixed by a software update.

Samsung Sway through Verizon. I give it an 8 cause it feels like a piece of crap, but otherwise works like intended. I miss my old LG vx8300, talk about a solid phone.

Motorola Razr - 6/10. It has a decent screen and a USB port (useful for when I hacked it up a bit and started uploading my own pictures and ringtones). Not very full-featured though because it's so old. Battery life isn't awesome either.

Verizon - 9/10. Never given me much trouble. Great service area. Very few, if any, dropped calls.

Phone 4/10. It works fine but the menus suck, it shouldn't take 3 minutes to get to the calculator function.
Verizon -7/10. This past month I FINALLY got more than one bar of service in my apartment. I can't wait for my contract to be up in January.

I went thru 3 RAZR's. It was the biggest pile of crap I ever owned, cell-phone wise. I will never buy another Motorola phone again.

iPhone 3G.

Functionality, applications = 10

Dropped calls and 250 mb updates bring that score down a bit.

Blackberry Storm... I hate it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10. My old Blackberry 8800 was awesome. I loved the trackball and the feel of an actual qwerty.

My Storm constantly freezes on me, it restarts all the time, i can't type efficiently on the touch screen, etrade doesn't offer their mobile service for the storm, I'm always hitting wrong buttons/features, etc etc etc

Samsung prepaid = 2

Pros: Cheap. I loaded it up with $100 in April and I still have $80 now in September. I think I'm actually going to lose some credit when the 1 year time limit runs out.

Cons: Poor call quality. It also loses connection to the cellular network like every 5 minutes and does not regain it until I power cycle the phone. To be fair, the nokia I had before it did the same thing. Must be a "feature" of At&t's Go phone service. Every time I pull it out of my pocket I'm greeted by the little phone-with-a-slash-through-it symbol that means I cannot make or receive calls. Naturally this is a constant nuisance for me when it necessitates a restart for every call I want to make and it makes actually getting through to me during the minuscule amount of time the phone retains its connection a statistical near-impossibility.

This, except I just have a normal 3G :(

I don't know why anyone would want to be with crappy AT&T just to have a phone. Their service sucks so bad that I know people who carry mifi's with them cus they never get service with AT&T.

Motorola Q9c - Sprint
4/10 - keeps locking up a lot, slow. If it wasn't for the SERO plan, I would quit. But otherwise it does the job of calls, text, and email and nothing more.

Samsung Eternity 8/10

Touch screen works good, decent music player, calls and texts good. Light drops a few times, no problem. A little laggy when multitasking, but manangeable. The only thing I don't like about it is that it can't connect to a wireless network. Besides that (a novelty), it's great.

My ball works perfect and I've used it non-stop for over a year now.

My dark blue Pearl knows that it has me wrapped around its little....ball.... :p
