Regular day, might try to finish up a couple of hours early since we have family coming to stay at our house.

I'm ducking out. Taking a day of vacation.

I was planning on working because, oh well just another day, but I'm traveling with a friend so needed to take the day off. I could tell already from Thursday though that it was going to be dead.

Next week the company is shut down. Me likey. :)

Counting my blessings because this is my holiday to work, so the other manager is off. Why this is good for me is that hospitals celebrate christmas on Friday and Monday, and this is his regular scheduled weekend to work LOL. Did I mention that Thanksgiving was his holiday to work as well? ROFL.

So I got Thanksgiving off and Christmas off. Hopefully he doesn't slit my throat on Tuesday when he's back in the office.

Slow.
We already had our Christmas party on Wednesday(still  on that) so i'm finishing up a repair job that might take an hour to finish. After that, if nothing comes out of heat treat i might get sent home, unless something magically appears out of thin air.

Last minute Christmas shoppers, "Oh, crap. I don't have any money. Christmas sneaked up on me."

Hopefully swamped with current customers. New applications will probably get coal.

Working, twice actually. Just got off a 2130-0700 shift, and do it again later today. Same for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And same for New Years Eve, and New Years Day. Except I'll be on day shift for those.

So far it SUCKS. Our management, displaying their usual incompetence, apparently let too many people schedule time off.

Nice and easy drive in today with half the working world taking the day off. Otherwise a normal day at work that I'll likely leave a few hours early.

normaly its an easy day. We close down till Jan 3rd so today is usually just kind of cleaning up, throwing old food in the fridge away, unplugging things sort of deal. usually start leaving after 2-3 hours.

But of course emergent work came up so me and the guy i work with get ot rush through a job since itll involve 4-5 other people and we all want to go home! (though we get out of cleaning!)

Hopefully today will be DEAD slow, and so far it is... I work from home as a support tech for access control systems. I figure total real work time today will be 1 hour. The main office will probably start letting guys go home at lunch.

We're all off on Monday, then skeleton crew on Tue/Wed/Thu, then a 4 day weekend (woot!).

Other than a couple of programmers, I'm basically the only one here. I'm senior level staff, so it's been kind of busy handling everything that usually gets handled by the other IT management folks.

So... nothing productive going on, but pretty full house, surprisingly.

Regular day, Kids are still in school. Watching our bandwidth pegged all day though, teachers are using a lot of youtube in class.

BTW, no traffic in L.A. today. I got in way early.

I half expect to get served with something today - attorneys are buttheads.
