Burn testing occurs at 11:00 am and then report into the joint chiefs at 2:00 pm, plus possibly last minute flight (first class of course) to discuss in person in Washington.
Or something like this that I can brag about how awesome my job is. Reality is nobody in corporate America is doing jack sh*t tomorrow and if I go in at all it will be late.
had a full day today - mostly screwing around though, not much work to do. Tomorrow I have off, and I have Monday off as well. Tuesday through Thursday will be incredibly boring. Then I go camping in the keys for a hippie style new years (gotta decide whether to watch in Key West the drag queen drop, the conch drop, or the wench drop on the pirate ship). Then back to the campsite for some serious drinking with all the campers and fire.
I have to prepare for a Motion to Suppress for an OVI and if I stay home I may be hitting another movie with the kids and after Chipwrecked, I don't think I can take another.
Most of the shop is out on an installation tomorrow. I will take it slow and easy unless I get sent out. Really need the week off next week to unwind and get well (from the pneumonia).
I'm probably going to be busy as hell tomorrow. The friday before christmas is always our busiest day. Thats retail for you. I'll work through Saturday and then I'll take off Monday through Wednesday.
Same as it always is... wake up, drink most of 12-pack and then go driving the Bus... then I finish what's left of the beer, keep driving, pick up another 12-pack, ad infinitum..
Most people at my office will be there tomorrow. In past years, they've let everyone leave a bit early on the last workday before Christmas, but I don't think it's going to happen this year. Everyone is walking on eggshells.
Half day tomorrow... so I'll show up an hour-ish late, post on ATOT a bit, maybe visit with the people I used to work with downstairs, go to the potluck thing at 10, then leave at noon.
I suspect that it will probably suck... we're on holiday staffing, but I suspect that most of our clients won't be, and they'll probably be wanting shit to get done before they all take off for their Christmas holidays.
maybe not... a lot of our clients are e-commerce and I'd imagine that at this point, it's too late for online Christmas shopping.
Hard to predict. The CRAZY rush will be boxing day of course. I expect the 24th to a bit busier with people coming in to get last minute gift certificates and stocking stuffers SD cards and USB keys probably. Don't expect to sell many big ticket items as most desktops and laptops we have have to be ordered at least a few days before pickup, desktops up to a week or more. Though we do keep a selection of some of the top selling laptops in store.
