I don't know off the top of my head, but I can assure you they had a Pennsylvania license plate.

well i was on the mass pike a few years ago, and i saw this unfold in front of me. This green explorer is driving along in the travel lane, with a silver civic behind it. The silver civic moves into the passing lane to pass the explorer, and is lined up with it perfectly when the civic suddenly rams directly into the explorer....like they didn't notice the giant SUV right next to them...here's where it gets fun...the civic ends up on two wheels...driver's side on the road, passengers side ON the explorer, they travelled like this for about 5 seconds as I slammed on my breaks and dove into the breakdown lane. All this occurred at about 75 mph....and yes the civic driver was a woman...Seriously though, she goes to pass the guy, and when she's right along side him just rams him, it's not like it's a blind spot issue....can you forget that there's a car next to you when you're still in the process off passing them?? can you be that stupid and still breathe on your own??

oh and another one. A guy was being a hotshot and gunning his engine and blaring his music outside this club he then tries to do a u-turn and speed away but instead drives straight into my friends brand new car that was parked on the other side.

he was drunk. it was a rental car. his quote was classic "my family is very rich, we are from France, don't call the police, I give you all the money you want"

I was on storrow drive in boston (it's a pretty big one way road, people ususally go 45-50 mph). Well today a crackhead decided to drive...I was about 3 cars behind him with no traffic going about 50. The road starts to curve and this guy can't handle the turn and spins his car 180 degrees. He sees all the headlights shining on him and acts like nothing is wrong and starts waving for people to go past him like nothing was wrong...Moron

here's mine:

a few years ago i pulled up behind this little old lady in a cadillac, she was sitting at a green light with her nose partway out into the intersection...so i left some space between us...the light turns yellow and apparently she realized she was too far in the intersection, so she puts it in reverse and hits the gas...i had to check my mirror and back up so she wouldn't hit me....half of her car was occupying the space where my car had been 2 seconds previous...she sat there for about 10 seconds then drove through the red light and almost creamed a semi...and people wonder why i want license testing every time you renew past a certian age

my grandmother was telling me about how one of her friends was driving and she blew through 3 red lights... her friend in the passenger seat turned to her and said , hey are you ok driving??? She then turned to her friend puzzled and then remarked, "OH! I'm driving!?!?!"

meh, probably overtaking on blind corners...

but people collectively speeding up when you get to a straight/overtaking lane after sitting 20kmh below the speed limit until then, then dropping to that speed again after the straight annoys me the most :|

yeah that sh1t is annoying...or when someone stays 3 feet off your bumper in traffic on the interstate and when you finally move over they move up to the next car 30 feet ahead and proceed to ride them just like they did you...i always get the urge to just slam on the brakes and claim whiplash

QFT

also, the ppl who speed up to fastest possible speed then brake hard rather than take an easier pace. guess what, 9 out of 10 times, i end up right next to you at the next intersection.
gg buddy.

Categories of dangerous people on the road.

Elderly
Women
Foreigners
Hot shot teens trying to impress someone
Drunks
Cars that have no business on the road due to poor maintance, like the leaf springs busted sparking the ground while driving
Easily distracted idiots using cell phones, eating, reading, or watching tv on thier new car LCDs.
Fat people (I duno why, but I see more accidents involving fat people, guess it's because I'm in the fattest city in the world).

It's the worst when you combine categories. An old, fat, foreign, woman that's drunk and driving POS while eating and talking on the cell phone is a scary person to drive on the road with.

Elderly woman who changed from the right hand lane into the passing lane only to make an immediate right w/ no signal.

Also, I sincerely believe that a large portion of the population does not know the left lane is for faster moving traffic, not cruising

weirdest thing: my elderly mom is driving down the freeway, behind some traffic. There is a car parked on the right shoulder. It starts to go, and moves into her lane in front of her, she brakes and moves over, and it keeps moving to the left as she slows in the left lane. It crosses the lane and crashes into the bushes in the median in front of her!
No one is inside. It was parked on the top of an overpass, and the wind from the passing semi truck ahead of her jars it loose, apparently. It must have been stuck on a piece of gravel:)

Many years ago going to a Dodger game at dodger stadium I recall seeing a large raised pickup which hit a car, went half-way over it and got stuck sitting on top. This was a busy intersection very close to the stadium, I'm sure at least a couple cops saw it.

Maybe not the dumbest thing I've ever seen, but last night driving home from work a teen in a lifted Toyota SR-5 came flying up behind me. We were on a two lane with double yellows in the middle, approaching an intersection. I saw a car approach the intersection from the left and I thought he was going to turn left in front of me so I slowed a little. The SR-5 crosses the double yellow to pass me as the other car is turning onto the road. The SR-5 swerved back across the road and passed the car that just turned onto the road on the right shoulder. He fishtailed a bit on the shoulder but managed not to get sideways or flip it.

Three are fresh in my mind. All women.

I was driving the speed limit (55) on a surface street when an old woman in a sedan pulled out infront of me and did not accelerate. I couldn't get over and had to skid as to avoid her. She didn't even notice.

A few weeks ago a girl in a civic merged right into me and forced me off of the freeway. She was talking on her cell phone and was right beside me, I don't understand how she didn't see me.

Earlier this week I saw a girl turn out of an apartment complex and try to turn left into a closed road with no less than four "Road Closed" signs on it, not twenty feet from the stop light she was just sitting at. When she realized she couldn't turn left she swirved and almost hit a truck waiting to go straight while she was doing this. This was the first time I had seen someone back up in an intersection. The road had been closed for over a year because of a new bridge over the freeway being built.

Putting the nose and most of the rest of the vehicle across the right 2 lanes, blocking traffic, and then looking to see when the left lane is clear before making a right turn. Twice in a row.

People backing up on freeways because they missed an exit.

People swerving at the last minute on the freeway because they're about to miss an exit.

Driving on the highway during a heavy snow storm in the right hand lane. I look into the rear view mirror and see a semi gain on me fast. He caught up and tail gated for a bit then pass on the left side. Five minutes later I see the same truck in the ditch. Hah, got what he deserved and good thing nobody go hurt.

I think I'm responsible for the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Driving home from work one day very tired...I woke up doing 60 on the wide grass median of a 4 lane highway. I'm so lucky there was a median and not a barrier!

I was driving straight down the road, past a merging area for cars coming from the freeway. I have a 79 lincoln continental, also known as the "land yacht". Anyways one of those driving RV's had come off the freeway and was waiting to turn. He decided it was going to be fun to turn right into me. HE hit my right rear fender, spun me across the road, and i was off the road facing oncoming traffic. NOw thats stupid.

Then he had the nerve to say "well i dont know who's fault that was" i pretty much didnt answer him.

The correct answer was to fire a pistol into his face, then empty the remaining clip into his lifeless body.
