Chicago is a real city. LA is a mass of suburbs. Take LA city proper and it's very unremarkable as a city.

Meh. I just moved to Seattle from Chicago. Seattle's closer to a small town, not a dense metropolis like NY or Chicago. I'm not saying that I don't like Seattle, but it's not even in the running for second city status.

I think it's a toss-up between Chi-town and LA. Since LA is a sh1thole with terrible traffic that I wish would wash off of the United States coast, I voted for Chicago.

i got to put in a vote for los angeles, and not because i live so close to it, being in the pasadena area

you got hollywood

you got universal studios, disneyland, etc so close to the city

its THE north american gateway to asia
