What happened to the default ? I can't stand this layout.

It's a much simpler layout. I suspect in deference to phone and other small display users with fat fingers.

A couple more hours of CSS work and I'll have it to where I can tolerate it. Might require a little javascript fiddling as well.

No, this melts the servers. We tried this back with XF 1.5. It broke all the things.

We're workin' on the orange. It is likely going away, based on the feedback. However, I will say...in defense of the orange. *points to the actual AnandTech homepage with all the news and features* Ahem. The orange did not arise from a vacuum, or a personal desire to make the place seem more citrusy.

Dunno if that's just some growing pains or if the underlying software is just slower / more process intensive.

We'd need to purge all the non-millenials. As a daywalker on the cusp of Millenial/GenX, I would rather resent that. I trust from the salty retort you won't be participating in the AnandTech Pumpkin Spice Rig Boujee Fleek Selfie Challenge coming up, then? It will be totes bae.

To keep this general color scheme, everything needs to be shifted a step darker. It all washes out otherwise. The dark should be light, the header color should be dark, and the header black, or close to it.

Very few here visit AnandTech.com. I'm surprised that Purch hasn't figured that out by now.

The old blue (like in my avatar) works well for links on the lighter AnandTech theme, but doesn't work at all for the darker theme.

Glad I canceled my name change. Wouldn't really want to be Adolf Hitler for the next year. A day or two would have been fine.
