No, this melts the servers. We tried this back with XF 1.5. It broke all the things.

However, I will say...in defense of the orange. *points to the actual AnandTech homepage with all the news and features* Ahem. The orange did not arise from a vacuum, or a personal desire to make the place seem more citrusy.

Dunno if that's just some growing pains or if the underlying software is just slower / more process intensive.

To keep this general color scheme, everything needs to be shifted a step darker. It all washes out otherwise. The dark should be light, the header color should be dark, and the header black, or close to it.

Very few here visit AnandTech.com. I'm surprised that Purch hasn't figured that out by now.

The old blue (like in my avatar) works well for links on the lighter AnandTech theme, but doesn't work at all for the darker theme.
