Gah. Xfinity can just die. Switched over to Fidium Fiber (1gbps that's cheaper than my 400mbps comcast). I get a bill from Comcast for the service I cancelled. Bozos. When I cancelled they tried to offer me a deal, after I had just signed a contract for Fidium, I had asked Comcast if they would reduce my bill or I might go with Fidium 3 months early - no dice. Losers
Now, they want to charge an extra $25/mo per line (we have two). When I signed up for Xfinity Mobile, I explicitly asked if this was part of an internet bundle. They said no - this is their every day price. Damn liars. We got an upgrade to two new iPhone 15s recently, but, partly my fault, and then theirs on follow up (well, no follow up) so we've had trouble sending the old ones in for the discount. I have to call today. If they don't a allow us the return the old phone for the sizeable discount they gave us - I'll just have to buy them out and go to another service. Verizon is just as expensive (with the new Xfinity rate), but in all the years I had them as a provider - then never screwed me over. Now I have to turn on the calm cool and collected AJay when I call them to work the problem, even though I'm pretty POed right now.
