When we bought another company and brought in those employees in our office we had one like that. Acted like he owned the place. He worked the evening shift and would show up at 4, turn off all the lights, and switch the TV to another channel and unmute it, he didn't care if any of us were on the phone. He'd also stink up the whole place making some really nasty smelling meals. Most people were not brave enough to say anything though, guy was a little crazy. He pulled a knife on the boss once, and he also tied his wife up in his basement a decade or so before and was in the news for it. Normally quiet but one of those types of quiet where you feel there is rage fueling inside. I always felt a bit uneasy when I had to work night shift with him lol.
Is it impossible in Canada to fire an employee for being a potential threat to other employees?

You are either making this up (sorry but had to say it) or he's the luckiest guy in existence who can get away with anything.

He got fired when he pulled the knife on the boss but then somehow got rehired. Something about mental health, and the union fought for him. I don't remember the full story, it was before my time, only heard the story from one of his coworkers. He never actually made any threats other than the knife incident, he just had very bad vibes, so you can't really fire someone for that.

I didn't have my phone when I went to BK so I couldn't use the $10 for a Medium Bacon King combo deal that's on the BK app. I had to pay $14 damn dollars.

So I posted last week about Chinese hax0rs who got my Chrome password shit and were trying to wreak havoc. One that I didn't see on the list Pizzahut, which I don't remember the last time I ordered, maybe 2 years. And I didn't even know I had a card on file, I don't remember adding one but apparently, I did and they placed 2 orders, 16 wings to see if it works I guess? Then 3 pizzas, 2 melts, and those cinnashit desert shits. I logged in and clicked on the 2 orders to get more details. Was in LA (Cali) and they also clicked on the button at the bottom of the order screen to donate $2 for literacy. How nice of them lol.

I'm 100% sure I never even added a credit card to my account, I never order pizza hut lol.

*EDIT* I just looked at my payment methods and the card's exp is 1/25, so this looks like a new card they added, and the billing zipcode's LA so it's definitely not any card I've had. Now I'm wondering why someone would use another person's pizzahut account with a card they added. Whatever the hell happened, I still hope they get explosive diarrhea.

Shit, I had so many #1stworldproblems last month I need to take a 3 day trip to Ensenada or somewhere.

Oh man you could have fun with that. You basically have their credit card and home address now if you do a password reset on that account. Order a truck load of manure to be dumped right on their front lawn. Pay for it with their credit card of course.

LOL it was a pick up order, the name just says John, no last name, and that's my name. The card just shows up as XXX XXX XXX 0419, I can't do anything with that. Back when they hax0r3d me, they changed the password, email address and home address on a credit card I forgot I had. I tried and tried and tried to call the CC company but could never get thru. They also added a bank account to the credit card account and made a $1,200'ish payment. I can only assume it wasn't their bank account. The only reason I could come up with for them changing the phone number and address is so they could report the card stolen and had a new one sent to their house. That's probably what they used to order the pizzas, and wings, and pasta, and melts, and cinnashits dessert. Since I cannot for the life of me get a human on the phone with the CC company I guess I have to wait until they contact me. As I'm sure whoevers bank account was used to pay my bill is going to be pretty upset. So the company will be in contact once that other person gets their bank involved.

It's interesting their in LA, I guess all the random IP's in China were them using a VPN. If they had the replacement card sent to their house, the address is known and hopefully the police will do something, but I doubt they will. And to add salt to the wound, I got an email from PH asking me to rate how my meal was lol.

Maybe they are actual Chinese govt sponsored spies/hackers and their job IS to make US citizens and the USA poorer?

I say you should send a tip to Homeland Security or the FBI to have them investigate why certain elements in LA are using Chinese IP addresses.

Oh that sucks, I guess you could make a bunch of food orders but that's not as fun as actually having their home address. :D

WAIT a minute.... that's an idea, but I'm almost certain the card he used in my name and has $$$ available on it from paying the bill with a bank account he stole. I know he paid $1,200 and I know he changed all the info, so it just makes sense he requested a new card. And as soon as I ordered even 1 pizza I'd be an accessory and I'd probably be the one who got in trouble when the police get involved. And for all I know the address he had the card shipped to is a drop site (a recently sold empty house that's not his) If he was smart enough to hack into my computer I'd imagine he's also smart enough to not have a replacement card sent to his actual home.

Not 100%, but I think if the police get involved and I'm involved because they think it's me, by law I get to see the police report which should have the address the card was shipped to on it.

Yeah true might be best to leave it alone. The law is not always just in these situations and often it's the victim that gets in trouble. It's why theft in general is so bad now days. Nothing we can really do legally to stop it.

Cat ass really stinks, and it's always the boys. I give my boy less attention than the girl cause he sometimes leaves cat ass smell on my arm. He's pretty charming otherwise.

I've been doing some historical research which involves running around town looking at building cornerstones to see what rock they are made of*. Two of today's cornerstones were heavily painted, making rock identification impossible (without being charged with vandalism). Who paints rocks? Anything you cover one with is less durable and uglier than the rock itself.

*What's really weird about this post is that I'm actually not over eighty years old. :p

As a rule it's safer to assume utter stupidity on the part of a criminal then the opposite. (although it's BEST not to assume anything!)

I suggest you confirm that your assumption is accurate. ;)

I think it can look good sometimes, especially when it gets some age and peeling, same with brick. Depends on how it's done though.

A hippy-neighbor of mine always leaves a little pile of hand-painted rocks with cute pictures and/or little verses next to a sign that says "take a rock/leave a rock".

When I take longer than usual evening walks I make it a point to stop and look... there's always new selections!

:D

Whenever I read complaints about office lighting, I think of the opening scenes of Joe Vs The Volcano.

----------

My medical insurance gives me a quarterly allotment for 'over the counter' products; cough syrups, pain pills, band-aids, and so on. I place an order on a website and CVS fulfills it. Usually works out OK, but they mess up sometimes. This time I got a completely different order, not even the same order number on the shipping receipt.

And of course, they're not open today.
