Is it impossible in Canada to fire an employee for being a potential threat to other employees? When we bought another company and brought in those employees in our office we had one like that. Acted like he owned the place. He worked the evening shift and would show up at 4, turn off all the lights, and switch the TV to another channel and unmute it, he didn't care if any of us were on the phone. He'd also stink up the whole place making some really nasty smelling meals. Most people were not brave enough to say anything though, guy was a little crazy. He pulled a knife on the boss once, and he also tied his wife up in his basement a decade or so before and was in the news for it. Normally quiet but one of those types of quiet where you feel there is rage fueling inside. I always felt a bit uneasy when I had to work night shift with him lol.
You are either making this up (sorry but had to say it) or he's the luckiest guy in existence who can get away with anything.
