I just had my Chase credit card replaced maybe 45 days ago, and I just got a email notification that someone charged $450+ for a order at Walmart.com.
I've really only used the new card a handful of times to pay for gas, an order at AAFES, my Spectrum cable bill, and physically in a Walmart store. And yet my card was either compromised at the places I used it, or Chase has some kind of processing vulnerability.
I think when I get the new replacement card, I'm only going to use it at one location for a few months, and see if I can figure out where the issue is. I do know that AAFES (for some reason) doesn't seem to encrypt any of their confirmation/update emails being to sent to me in Gmail, and based on the dates of the fraudulent charges appeared, they are the retailer I will focus on first.
Fucking scammers/hackers.
