I know the feeling. I sometimes go to order something and it totals up to like $40 and it's hard to justify but when I'm hungry and don't feel like making something or going to pick it up... I sometimes still pull the trigger. Though now when I'm home and not at work, I usually compromise and go pick it up, that saves about $10 by the time you factor delivery and tip, which also means a bit more taxes due to the total being higher, so it all adds up. Delivery in general has gone way up now too, I remember when $2-3 was the norm but those days are over. Looking at like $6 for delivery alone.

All of the burger places had $8 in fees, plus a $6 delivery charge, PLUS tip! On top of over-inflated burger prices. Screw it, this is why I cook at home most of the time lol.

I replaced my ceiling can lights with brighter LED inserts. Took about 10 minutes, but now I can see how awful of a paint job the previous owner did on the ceiling. Now I'm going to have to paint the damn ceiling. 10 minute project turning into a multiple hour project.

Also my recycling bin was overflowing last week with extra cardboard boxes. I cut up the extra boxes and set them in a box neatly next to my recycling bin hoping that the recycling collector would take them. They did not. Instead I had to spend 30 minutes driving round trip to the recycling center to drop them off. Pretty sure that's worse for the environment than just putting the boxes in the trash. Same problem happened this week so I just ended up putting some of my recycling in the trash bin.

2nd night in a row where I'd wake up every 20-30 minutes with severe low back spasms. They happen so suddenly, and hurt. Basically a charley horse originating from my bottom vertebrae shooting across my entire lower back and down into my hips.

One was so bad it had me fall of the bed onto the floor. I couldn't even stand up on my own, and had to wait for my wife to get out of the shower to help me up.

The last time I've had anything close to this, was before my first back surgery back in 2013. I'm afraid I could possibly looking into the 2nd one at some point.

I was trying to open task manager but got a slack notification that covered the menu right as I clicked and when I tried to X out of the notification it also clicked on cascade or something (I did not see because of the notification) and all my windows rearranged themselves. Just spent the last half hour fixing all my windows.

Not a problem, but next week there's election in Denmark and there is a meeting about which school my eldest child is going to attend. But the thing that I'm most excited about is the RDNA3 launch. :p

I didn't know RDNA3 launch hinged on Danish election! Or does it depend on you first born's school choice?

Bought a Lian Li case for my new build, that I tried to assemble yesterday. I say tried because it didn't have any case fans. Is that what the world has come to?!? I'm waiting for the Amazon guy now.

FWIW I've never had an included Lian Li case fan last longer then about 6 months.... I would have suggested replacing them stat anyway.

I had a co worker who raves about Lian Li. That’s why I went with them this time. I got and installed the fans, only to find that the power supply was broken. I have to wait until Friday for the replacement.

Don't get me wrong I really like Lian Li cases, have owned several and in fact my FX backup PC is still in one, but unless you go with the newer "interlocking" fans that do away with the wire power-connections their fans are not very good. (and getting ANY warranty-support is like pulling teeth!)

I used to swear by Aerocool Shark fans back in the day (and I have a few that have 10 YEARS + of 90% "on" time yet they still work perfectly!) but these days I use either Corsair "Maglev" or Noctua "Chromax" black fans almost exclusively.

after logging back into work last evening to figure out a production issue i logged out around 12am and then watched a movie and then tried to go to bed around 3, but, couldnt get tired/sleepy. Finally fell asleep around 5:30am, and then alarm clock blasted my ear drums with the shrill horror of BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP after only 3ish hours since I had to log back into work. I believe this is a first world problem, because of electricity.

I actually did get the interlocking fans, and they have rgb too. I may get 3 more now, and put them on the side of the case. I don't think I will use the RGB though.

Occasionally I want to read stuff on twitter without getting halted by "you've got to sign in now" after like 3 tweets' worth of scrolling. My wife is on twitter too and wants me to look at stuff. I personally hate twitter with a passion because of its idiotic method of threading tweets (e.g. sometimes the second tweet is at the top followed by the first then third).

I finally relented and set up a twitter account purely for the purpose of being able to scroll past the third or so tweet. My username/handle is stuck on '#mike' for some reason, there's no option on the website to change the username (all guides point to Android/iOS clients). I sent a message to twitter support and haven't received a response. I then received a request for feedback. I then received a message saying there had been suspicious activity on my account (which turned out to be me on the same IP and browser as I originally signed up on), then a non-optional request for my mobile number to proceed.

Fuck Twitter.

There are many browser extensions available that let you bypass the Twitter login requirement without creating an account. Just do a web search for "bypass twitter extension." I hate twitter too but sometimes I need to look on there for local news and information but I don't have an account.

Ordered a laptop docking station so I could use two monitors. Amazon lost the package. Been stuck with one monitor for the past week. Finally got Amazon to refund.

Was really excited my new place is near a gym. I could do a 1 mile warm up run to get there and then work out. Wouldn't have to drive. Turns out the gym is $99/month. Wtf. They must have gold plated weights.
