Not sure if FWP, just tested positive for COVID. Was super careful, wore my mask all the time, fully vaccinated. Have underlying health condition, so a bit stressed about that. Now my family has to quarantine pending their tests which means kids miss school and whatnot.

One of the kid's school shut down today because of a positive result on Friday. Damn anti-vaxx adults infecting their kids and sending them to school.

Have you kept a log since you got it? You'll get a sense of the "flow" of the virus if you have symptoms.

The virus can trick you into reporting asymptomatic when it is actually suppressing them; when it leaves you might start feeling it..

I get sinus infections once or twice a year as a remnant of the severe allergies I suffered as a kid growing up in almond territory. Thursday I could feel a sinus infection coming on, bit of sore throat and nasal drip. Friday it was a bit worse with more pronounced congestion.

Then Saturday hit. I slept all day, I was so exhausted. Couldn't breathe through my nose. Had no appetite. Couldn't control my body temperature, alternating between chills and cold sweat. Sunday was more of the same.

Today the exhaustion and congestion are mostly gone but I still have wild temperature settings and the body aches are almost unbearable.

What day was the test administered?

I tested positive during the "exhaustion" phase, which lasted nearly a week or more for me(Definitely Feb 5-6, it started coming on). Now, I was not vaxxed(might have had natural immunity from Nov 2019), and it was this February 12-13 I tested positive.

Seems like you are on the recovery. In my experience, you'll really feel it when its gone as well; I felt a wave a restored energy on the 17th. But that was a brief repose before the "damage" became symptomatic and I had long COVID. Hopefully, you'll just recover and avoid the long symptoms. But this illness is so YMMV.

Sucks, hopefully it will be a small reaction and you get better quickly.

My sister and 2 of my nephews got it and were sick for a few days, it was like a really bad cold. They had just gotten their first vaccine shot so that probably did help.

The Walgreens around me have super fast turnaround on their tests and they're accurate (Hawaii accepts them). The only real issue is having to wait in the drive-thru pharmacy line. I showed up a half hour early for my appointment and ended up getting my test done more than a half hour after my appointment time. Some of those mf'ers in line ahead of me were taking 20-30 minutes at the window. I was done in 4.

I don't know but you would think with the number of MEMBERS we have there have to be/have been at least a few.

As for regular posters however I don't believe so, although I know that quite a a few have tested positive so far and some got sick.

I think the best way to describe COVID is that if you're living in a gated community of 100, one or two must be killed every year and replaced.

Ordered a transfer pump so I can transfer water from a lake into a tank but it seems that self priming transfer pumps... are not actually self priming. Not only that, but they don't seem to have any kind of suction force out of the inlet. They only work if there is a bit of head pressure already. Not a total loss since I'm still going to want this for a general purpose spraying pump (sprinklers etc) so I will probably set it up that way at some point. I will need to buy a submersible pump for what I want to do though. Was trying to avoid those as I don't like the idea of putting power straight into a lake in case there is a fault. When I'm filling the tank I'd probably go for a swim at the same time.

Ended up ordering a submersible one too lol. Will see how that goes.

(Don't mind calling them out openly, it's Fairfield Management.)

They seem to want to pressure you to pay rent through your bank account(vs a credit or debit card..) , if you're paying online thru their resident portal.

This is total bullshit.

Meh, ~2% processing fees add up but don't worry, they'll pass it on to you sooner or later.

Which is the point, they are already building the fees into their prices; they would rather pocket them than have the tenants reap the CC rewards.

I don't think I have ever lived in an apartment where they didn't charge you a credit card fee for paying you rent. I've always paid by check or EFT.
