I need to actually binge watch Seinfeld at some point. I've seen episodes here and there on TV but it was never something I actually followed.

TONS!

Most of them say its too boring. I think they're used to sitcoms having lots of idiots running around acting silly.
I went on a second date with this girl last week even though the first date was a bit boring, because she was quite cute. The second date conversation was harder to keep going than like any previous date this year. I randomly asked her 'Friends vs Seinfeld'

She said Friends without hesitation, and then I knew for sure that solidified that this was going nowhere

the show was MUCH funnier when it was new and people saw an episode a week. Its formula and character archetypes have been ripped off a great deal since, so you may not like it. Too popular. Way too strong an influence on television and pop culture in general.

Kinda like if you had a 10 year old who had seen a bunch of movies and one day you show him E.T.
I bet he would not be impressed. It was awesome at the time but nowadays might feel special or unique.

Friends is the worst of old school sitcoms. No plots. Its all about the characters. And they are awful. Its basically Threes Company times two. Yeah, more room for interactions but the writers run out of good ideas and eventually they are doing the same thing every week.

Went to the Hospital for my chemo treatment today. The nurse plugged the IV into the port in my chest and started administering the pre meds. She then left for a while and when she came back she said " no treatment for you today." I failed my blood tests. I've been reduced to an anemic, immunocompromised hemophiliac. They are giving me a week off to recover enough to get another dose of poison shot into my veins.

Hopefully Timmy the Tumor is doing worse than the John.

Oh God, the day after the show, all the young engineers would talk about the episode *endlessly*. I’d go out and find something to do in the development lab to preserve my sanity.
AJay, you moron. They talked about Friends - not Seinfeld. Seinfeld was worth watching. Friends wasn’t (except Jennifer Aniston was hawt).

Someone left the office door ajar overnight. A secure aluminum door that opens onto a public parking lot. It expands in the summer heat and won't shut itself like normal - just sticks. You have to shove it shut.
I was the first to enter this morning and checked for signs of entry. Lights in the entrance stairwell were on. Maybe that deterred anyone passing by that might have noticed the door was cracked. From outside, light is visible under the double door even when closed. I was still kind of nervous though, having to enter alone, don't want to surprise anyone within. I did notice a moth had found its way in - but no equipment was touched I guess.

Guess there's no problem - other than leaving the office in an unsafe condition overnight.

More of my reward checking accounts lower their rates. One of them was 4% and now it is not even half of the previous rate (1.51% now). Only two of them have decent rates now (4% or higher).

Wow never paid that much attention to fees did not realize it was a percentage. Though in a way that's still cheaper than if you were to say, setup your own credit card gateway since those usually charge like 2-3% + a fixed amount per transaction. You just pay it right away instead of when you transfer out.

I actually thought Joey was pretty funny, but I'd be lying if I said a large appeal of that show wasn't all the air conditioners they were apparently aiming at Aniston's torso during filming.

My eldest son is almost 12, starting middle school this year. He's been in GATE for 3 years or so.

He can't name the 12 months of the year in order.

Got a new fridge last week and it's a different brand, the doors just don't close as easily as the last one so I often leave the doors open a crack. I am going to have to find some small pieces of wood or something to raise the front of the fridge up just slightly so the doors close easier to compensate.

Don't most appliances with doors have height-adjustable legs in the front for just this purpose?

Do they use cursive? My adopted 20 yo can't read/write it. My son's school started them with it in 1st grade but it was private.

In our digital world cursive is a complete waste of time IMO unless he plans on a career in calligraphy or designing greeting cards it will be fine.

Knowing what MONTH it is could come in handy though! 😳
