And domestic violence stays in the house.

Not sure what you do with the guts/hooves.

behind my house is a state wildlife preserve...full of lions and coyotes and bears...oh my.

Behind those trees is about 400 yards of woods and wetlands...then Grays Harbor North Bay.

YouTube published a new version of their app for Apple TV. They redid the Home screen so that they videos I like to watch don't show up anymore. Now I have to actually go through my subscriptions one by one to get what I want .

Went to the local McD for the $4 for 4 combo via drive though line because the dinning room was closed due to Covid. Left the pickup window and got a sip of my drink and it was tea and not Coke as I ordered (I did check the receipt). Took it and drove away because I didn't want to drive around to the drive through again (it was jam packed). $15/hour, eh?

At least the fries were hot and not just luke warm.

Where do you live that indoor dining is still closed due to COVID?

Restaurants are allowed to have customers inside but this McD location still does not allow anyone inside. I know the local Taco Bell and Waffle House and What A Burger have their lobby/dining room available for customers.

I don't blame them. No lobby/dinning room = money saving because of less staff and less maint/cleaning/other associated fixed costs. Don't forget the play ground area for kids too.

Those darn CFAs are the money printing machines. They almost always full every time I drove past by (pre and post Covid). We have a few new ones around here for the last few years and I don't think I ever see one shut down (because of low customer volume) around here, ever.

Daughters drove off a cliff Friday so we were up half the night. Apparently one of them took off her seatbelt to get something out of the backseat and they were being stupid and playing any my other daughter was goofing, lost control and went off a cliff.

Saturday was all about getting people meds and taking care of them. I had to work and we had a huge birthday party and BBQ.. Today one of the daughters has been crying all day because she broke her collarbone and it hurts. All day she kept saying she wanted to go back to the hospital because it hurts. I told her its a broken bone! Its gonna hurt!

The wife got home and took her back to the ER.

I am so thankful my girls are okay. I am so angry how nonchalant they are about this whole thing. The driver has basic liability. So the cost of the tow and the crane and all of the other crap is out of pocket. The one who got hurt is going to have massive medical bills and the ambulance. They said she can be out of work for up to10 weeks. Any guess who is gonna get stuck paying someone else bills, like rent and food and crap?

In the words of the late Glenn Frey..the Heat Is On.

Forecast is for 83 degrees F on next Sunday,86 degrees F on Monday, and then 88 degrees F on Tuesday.

(Courtesy of Accuweather.com).

Seems a little hot for late May in Portland,OR.

Really don't want to have to re-install my portable window-vent A/C yet.

(I like being able to totally close the window all the way.)

Just hope the humidity doesn't get too high.

Thankfully,my upstairs neighbor's porch shades my window enough that the direct sun doesn't blast me in the face.

90's (33C) up in So. NH today. It's been a hotter than usual May. On the plus side, the new shorts I ordered come in today. They neighbors will rejoice when I stop working in the yard wearing speedos.

Supposed to hit 100F by Friday. Yesterday’s humidity was 1-4% so it really is a dry heat. :p

1-4%!! Geez, I forgot what state you live in, AZ? Seems like one would need moisturizer with those sort of humidity levels - well, maybe not from the oils released sweating your ass off.

I did not know humidity that low was even technically possible. Normally humidity and heat go hand in hand, since the heat is making all the moisture from the ground etc evaporate.

Possible in dry locations without lots of ground water or some coastal areas. Dry heat is so much better than humid heat.
