Even though it was gross I recall still being hungry after finishing one of those Uno pies AND some of what my GF didn't want too .... a large from Pepe's weighs like 5lbs and I'm only good for about half of one.

The only reason I brought up Pepe's was as an example of quality vs price. I'm fully aware Uno's corporate version is NOT representative of good Chicago deep-dish pizza.

However I also have no interest in being responsible for "YAATOTPT"!

;)

*(yet another ATOT pizza thread)
Pretty obvious you've never had real Uno's. My original bitch was they sent me the chain version, not the real thing.

Also sounds like you had their "NY Style" not their deep dish. Or you had the "individual" deep dish. Neither of which is sold at the real Uno's.

We got two of whatever the biggest pie they sold was at the now defunct chain location in Milford CT. And what I wrote was that what I had WAS NOT real/quality Chicago deep dish pizza at all.

The sign outside DID however say "Uno's" and it certainly APPEARED real at the time!

Yeah, let's make that my first world problem for today. Companies that sell their branding to other people, in an attempt to confuse the general public into paying a premium for a bad product. See: Any consumer item that says GE on it as well as tons of restaurants where there is one original that is good, and the chains are all owned by someone else and suck.

Most GE appliances are now rebranded Haier appliances.

Well...at least you know they're extra clean...:p
Not according to this Technology Connections video from two weeks ago:

TL;DW: Your machine skips a step when you use pods because it doesn't do the two-stage detergent thing.

I had never tried Godfather's Pizza when I moved to San Diego. On the ride out there I saw one in Arizona but there was no way I could take a pizza on the road with my motorcycle and all my stuff. Also, I was a little concerned about my brand new iPhone 3G getting ruined in the rain.

So when I saw "Godfathers" with an almost identical logo in San Diego I decided to stop there and try it one day. Some dude stopped me at the door because I was in motorcycle gear and they had a strict dress code. Peeking inside, it was some exclusive reservations only (unless you have connections) waited restraint and not a Godfather's Pizza joint. Oops. Bet they had amazing pizza tho' ;)

Definitely caused confusion.

SOB my Canadian Tire order got cancelled. Had a wiper fly off my truck while driving home from my shift right before Christmas, and between the holidays, and work, and lock down, I just never had a chance to go pick it up as it's all the way at the other end of town. Was hoping they would have given more time. Guess I'll just re-order it.

Also another FWP, got banned from a subreddit for questioning the government's lockdown rules and how arbitrary they are. Typical Reddit. Do not question authority or you are an extremist terrorist!

Today's FWP, dealing with mysql permissions. Man they are such a shit show. Someone decided it would be fun to make it so you can no longer login as root in phpmyadmin which forces me to have to deal with them manually on the command line which requires googling how every single time. Tried to create another super user but for some reason that user still can't create new users. What a freaking pain. I don't know why open source devs are so allergic to making things user friendly.

The day before I left for vacation my helper had a coronary event. The boss man told me to go ahead and take my time off. Today Im going back to 11 day backlog with no help for another week :-(

So my PS5 came yesterday from Walmart, but the delivery guy didn't ring my doorbell to let me know. I saw it last night when I went to get the mail.

You know that remote root logons are bad juju, right? I would have turned that off as well.

Seems like no one rings the doorbell any more, except the pizza delivery guy. So glad they saved those 5 seconds.

UPS and USPS almost never ring the doorbell here. Fortunately, my Ring doorbell lets me know they're here. Fed-Ex ALWAYS rings the bell.

10 days ago I received an email saying there was a suspicious login attempt to my account. I had forgotten that I even created account with them when they first became popular, but I never posted/Tweeted anything as it's just not my thing.

So I go there and change my password, and I noticed they gave the option to deactivate my account under account settings. The problem was my account was suspended and wouldn't let me do that. So I submitted a request to unsuspend my account so I could activate it, and they had me reply to an email letting them know I had access to my registered email (which I did).

10 days later, no response back and the account is still suspended. I can't do anything with (like change the email address, enable any additional security features, etc). I guess if I had to do it over again, I should have just posted something so offensive, they would have no other option than banning the account. :p

I keep getting tons of hair growth and balding related spam emails in my spam folder. Do they know something I don't? My hairline is ok... I think.
