I showed up to work forgetting to stop by the satellite office to grab any paperwork from there. I had to go back. +50 mins, total. I had to go to the clerk's office to wait while they decided whether to grant me access to juvenile records for an expungement I'm working on. + 80 mins, total.

There's an Incredible Hulk pinball machine for sale on Craigslist for $150. Looks to be in really nice shape, and Pinside has its value around $1.2-1.5k.

Unfortunately, the seller has a bad back and can't help, and I can't find anyone to help me load it into my car. I'm tempted to just try to do it myself...

Call a local furniture store. See if one of their delivery guys wants to make some $$ after hours.

I'm about to murder our outsourced IT service. They set up all users at our company with roaming profiles so virtually everything our employees save is saved on our network, including anything saved on desktop, my documents, etc, unless the employee purposefully saves something on C: drive. Well I took one of my employee's laptops and formatted the HDD on it and then installed Win 10. I call our outsourced IT to have them integrate it back into our network and connect it to my employee's profile, thinking it will restore everything because everyone in our company has a roaming profile. Turns out whatever dingbat set up this employee's profile when he was hired did not set it up as a roaming profile. Everything on this employee's desktop and my documents folder is gone.

Landlord spent 30 min talking to me. Had to youtube the Tulsa Miss St brawl.

Just saw a little from CBS half time show.

I filled up my vehicle earlier because it was raining and cold and I didn't want to do it later tonight. A couple hours later, the price went down 1 cent per gallon per gasbuddy.com (I did see a huge tractor did a restock of gasoline for the gas station while I was there).

2020 claimed one more victim today. After looking at stuff on my cell phone before getting to the drive-through today, I left the phone in my lap. Got home, got out of the car, and the phone fell, and the screen shattered (in one corner). I've never broken a phone screen before! (Broke one screen protector, but never the screen itself.)

The phone was three years old, and I was considering getting a new one anyway. Still, 📱

Can't you just tell them to call someone who cares?

That's practically what I've been doing, "Yeah nothing we can do there's a microwave issue, they're working on it".

Speaking of which I think it just cleared... Of course the techs won't call me to give an update. Typical lol.

I figured this would go on all night as if they need tower riggers they would not send them at night.

I went to take a shit in some nice clean drinking water but when I got there, someone had already pissed in it and left it to mellow. Damn near ruined my day.

Both of my kids "forgot" to do their FAFSA certifications (due by January 1st) until about 20 minutes ago, and now they are both scrambling to do them on their computers. I'm having to go through last years tax forms, and getting all the various financial information for them. In between my neck and back being locked up from fixing one of their PCs today, and trying to calm our youngest dog because of people shooting off fireworks in the neighborhood.

What a fitting way to end to 2020.

Do it yourself, or hire someone. There are rent-a-bum websites that let you hire physical laborers for moving. Usually college kids. My in-laws hired some to help me move them a few years ago, they were much better than I was expecting.

Or just post on NextDoor that you'll pay some high school kid $25 to help you.
