Just wash them in the sink. It wastes more water and is probably worse for the environment.
Ya know, that's a common trope, but I don't know if I believe it. There's certainly wasteful ways of handwashing, but I don't use a ton of water. When comparing to a machine wash, you also have to account for the rinsing you have to do before it gets in the machine. That adds to the tally. I think if you compared overall water use, they'd be pretty close unless you're one of those people that leaves the spigot on the whole time washing.

I'm terrified of having to get a new fridge. The only features I want are it gets cold, and a light comes on when I open the door, and I'm flexible on that last one. Seems like new stuff is fancier, and more delicate with more creative ways of not working.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the fancy ones either. Especially the smart fridges, I don't want any of that stuff in my house. I think it will be like TVs where you won't have a choice.

Can always buy a standup freezer and rewire the thermostat to turn it into a fridge I guess.

I have no idea. 😀
I run my dishwasher 1, maybe 2 times a week. I think the environment will survive.
Multiply that by millions.

Millions,I tell you.

You would think that restaurants would be on their A game after being shut down for 2 months. Nope. Just walked away from one of the places downtown after an hour of waiting. Left the wife and the kid (we walked from home), told her to send mine back and not pay for it. Hope she does. Especially since she has my credit card.

I'm literally in the parking lot after buying a new chest-high not-so-mini* fridge from a salvage store. Hope these recent horror stories about modern fridge don't come to haunt me.

*I consider a mini fridge something that fits under your desk.

Why the poop don't pdf documents open at zoom level 100% instead of some zoomed in bullshit like 144% or 175%?

FK U
Because some people have smaller screens. My notebook had to fit in a motorcycle tank bag. At 768p, 11.6" I frequently need it zoomed to fill horizontally.

That does make sense, although if it was me I'd get the screen size and zoom based on that.

Holy poop I am tiiiiiiiiired

All I can think about is getting off work (in 3 hrs fml) and taking a nap for 1.25 hrs or so. Just... Gotta... Hang... In... There

I got a call from the police. They found an old Subaru that was stolen from us a while back. 2 of the vin plates had been replaced with vin plates from a car in a junkyard so it had already been towed before they called me. The car was destroyed. They punched out the ignition and then used a couple of switches to start it. Replaced the wheels on one side of the car with mismatched wheels. Rattle canned the hood the rockers and spray painted the wheels and tires blue. They spray painted parts of the console and wrote on the steering wheel airbag with permanent marker ( Apparently Ant loves Brittany ) They spray painted the top of the engine. One of the back wheels had a massive positive camber.

We only had liability on it so it was a total loss. I signed it over to the towing company and they didn't charge me for the tow.

I didn't pay much for the thing but we used it to haul rescue dogs. We got it so dogs wouldn't be in the camper shell of my truck. It was nice to have something that was good on gas with ac for long hauls in the summer and nice and warm in the winter. Shit like this destroys my faith in humanity.

I lack better snacks cause i went for the gold yesterday, i downed this new brand of edible and ate like a entire 100mg package and like FUCK i want more then popcorn and endless pasta. To damn set here to even drive, not that i would under current circumstances but damn it. 😀 Not exactly planning on going anywhere till mid june. I had to drive over a hour away to pick up the 1000 mg of indica edibles to last me till July. 😀

If i am going to stay home, might as well make it count!

I just found out my favorite oyster bar just went out of business on Friday. They blamed Covid-19 as the reason they closed the restaurant. I have $100 restaurant gift card I guess is now worthless. 😡
