Went to the farm store for some fried chicken, and amazon delivered a shit ton food while I was out. I'm too full to try my pilot bread, canned bread, or fishies :^(

The gem show is in town and I bought a specimen containing the mineral Låvenite (anglicized to Lovenite). I'm trying to read more about the mineral. Searching for Lovenite does not bring the looked for results.

The 140 acre property I was looking at just sold. :(

On one hand I was hoping to go see it again in spring and maybe put an offer but on the other hand, it would put me in serious debt so I would not be able to afford to build anything on it anyway. So maybe it's for the best. :p

Something lake front would be better anyway... but I do like the idea of acreage land too, more room to play with toys without needing any licensing and stuff.

Looks like my latest bag of nuts only had three Brazils in it. I remember selecting that bag. There were others with more Brazils, but also had more hazels. I imagine whole batches have the correct percentages, but individual bags can have more or less depending on how they're filled. I checkout a few bags, and try to get one that looks good. This is my order of preference...

Brazil
Walnut
Hazel/almond
Pecan

And don't forget...the millenials/gen whatevers still expect you to tip at least 20%...

One of the great things is they have mind fucked everyone so hard they can get people to tip on top of tip.
I see many restaurants now require like an 18% tip, but it's listed in small text on the menu only.
So everyone gets the bill and just adds 20% more to the total.

Everybody gets pissed when I refuse to tip.
Although I don't think I'll ever order anything at a restaurant again, certainly not at these prices.

Actually why does everyone crap themselves when I refuse to order?
You can't go with us to a restaurant unless you buy stuff!
Why? You guys are all ordering, what's wrong with me sharing the table?

I seriously don't understand, or see any issue at all.
Obviously I wouldn't walk into a restaurant alone and just sit there doing nothing.

HR pushed out a video for all employees to watch. The notifications literally pop up in the middle of the desktop. One can defer watching twice after which the video autoplays. If one minimizes the window, the video pauses. It can't be closed until it has completely played on screen. It can be partially covered with other windows but if too much is covered, it pauses. I love Big Brother.

Don't have multiple screens? That is a third world problem.

<phew> looks like the rice did its job...or I just got lucky...gave it 2 days, installed the battery...VOILA! IT WORKS!

I might have celebrated too soon. I got up this morning, and despite being plugged into the usual charger...the battery was totally ded. I have it on a proper battery charger now...and it's showing signs of charging...but I don't know if the charging circuit in the mod has died, if the battery that got "wet feet (negative end) has gone bad...or if the wall charger just crapped out.
