Err credit card statement has the amount next to each transaction. I don't know what you are asking for.

Also. 300 on cc? The taxes portion of my cc purchases is more than that.
Yeah I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. If it's just the cost of each purchase you made, those should be on the statement for each purchase.

I have Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Cabela's Visa, and both Amazon cards and their statements all have each purchase cost in them somewhere.

Also maybe try looking for the actual statement in pdf format, a lot of sites might have just a summary thing on their website that doesn't show everything.

I just read an old report that says Americans use close to three rolls of toilet paper per person per week. You guys should eat more veggies.

And then it turns out the rolls are math rolls at 90g. I have never seen a 90g roll. Average roll is 227g or half a lb.

It was a rerun of a radio show I guess. then I googled

Was reading about the lost hiker in Hawaii. How does one manage to get lost and stay lost for two weeks in a 2100 acre (850 hectare) forest?

I heard that on the radio this morning, but details were scarce. I was thinking "Did she break both her legs or something?!" :^D

Mine doesn't. In fact all the cards I've had don't. They show the transaction amount but not the balance at the time of the transaction. If that makes sense. Like in my bank, it shows the transaction amount, and then the balance next to it. Gives a better history of balance as transactions go through.

I've actually switched a few times in hope the next one would have a better web interface. I don't tend to keep a balance, I pay it off as I go. It's rare I have more than $1,000 on it.

What do you mean balance? If you mean running total you can do that yourself easily in excel. The statement has all the information like last balance, payment, new balance and each transaction amount. I don't know what else you want from them.

News said she was doing fine but dehydrated and a "few" fractures.

This is what I mean:

Left one is my bank, see how it shows balance on side? Makes it easy to see a history of balance. Don't mind that high balance, that's not typical. :p I took out 5k of shares about a month ago, so I can use for projects this summer.

Right one is CC. It only shows the transactions.

I made a payment for 333.08. I was pretty sure my balance was 0 after that, but no way to know. Now my balance shot up to 600 (not shown here but shows on top of page) with not enough transactions to account for that. But if it showed balance on the side it would make it easier to follow. Maybe when I made that payment my balance was not actually zero, because some transactions had not gone through yet or something, so it showed zero. I'm just saying it would be nice if it actually showed that, would make things much easier to follow.

What I usually end up doing is stop using the card for a month or two to let things catch up, make sure it's at 0 and stays at 0, and then start using it again. I think what messes me up is the fact that things are delayed so when I think I only have a certain balance I actually have more so I don't actually pay it all.

What I probably need to start doing is tracking expenses in a separate system. I found an option where it can pay my full balance once a month though. I turned it on, then I don't have to worry about it.

It was much cooler today than I expected, and I'd have liked to have started taking down a dead spruce in my yard. Problem is all my climbing gear, ppe, and big saws are at work. I think the coolish days are about done, and I'll have to revert to plan A, and wait for fall :^/

The super secret not so secret is that my whole office block is under contract and, if the deal goes through, torn down. Just the thought of moving makes me nauseous. The prospect of actually finding something close and reasonable is about nil. eff me.

I guess you're in a "depressed" area? No opportunity to buy a place?

Depressed as in maybe $200K for starters but a quick search didn't show anything near.

Something will shake loose...I hope. Or better, the deal falls through but it's tax dollars buying the buildings so the deep pockets will prevail.:(

Public property purchases are easy to scuttle. Did you know that the property is contaminated, the politicians know about it, and are still offering top dollar? Cronyism wins! Something like that.

What they're trying to do is have the developer buy/raze/build and then lease the property back from the developer. All in a package deal, done and signed before the public finds out. Not that is would matter, our city does whatever they want regardless of public opinion. A while back, they wanted to add a 1% tax on prepared food. Multiple business owners showed up at the meetings and asked them not to. It passed unanimously. Same for a 3% accommodations tax. Even my VRBO has to pay it.
